*Charlie at the top*
*Snow's POV*
I am mentally happy dancing. I get to go outside and I get to get in a warm car. I hug Drake goodbye then pick up Gina and Star and follow Charlie out front. We open the door to a heavy snowfall. Charlie runs to the back of his Jeep, opens the trunk, and throws our stuff in. I climb into the front passenger seat and let Star and Gina get in. Charlie gets behind the wheel and starts the car.
"I don't know how far we can get with this weather. I hope it clears up soon." He says while turning on the windshield wipers.
I look out the window I close my eyes. I concentrate on the blizzard and use my snow magic to silently disperse it. When I open my eyes again the snow has stopped and the sky has cleared.
"Would you look at that? Just like magic." Drake says in wonder as he continues to drive oblivious to acts of awesomeness.
*7 Hours later*
After that long-ass drive we finally reached their pack territory. A girl, who can only be assumed to be Charlie's mate, walks up to the car as we park in front of the pack house. Drake gets out of the car and walks over to her and gives her a kiss on the lips. I remove myself from the car and walk over to the other side of the car were they are standing.
"Snowdrop meet Matilda, my mate. Mattie meet Snowdrop, she's going to stay here for a while because there were some issues happening at the shelter were she lives." All I do is nod my head and smile in her direction.
"Now before I do that I need to go and talk to you in private. Snowdrop can you wait here for a moment?"
Matilda walks around to the other side of the car and Charlie does the same but not before whispering to me:
"Can you get Gina ready? I'm going to do the thing."
I open the car door back up and place Gina in the snow. I crouch down next to her and whisper to get behind Charlie. Then I crawl under the car and do a quick shift making sure that my scent is hidden so that I won't get noticed.
*Charlie's POV*
After I make sure that she can't see Snowdrop, I drop down on one knee.
"Mattie in the 3 years that we have been together, I have been wondering what would be the best way to propose to you. The day you said you wanted to get yourself a puppy just to see if they are the same of wolfs, I searched the web for countless minutes and found a very close place that is only a 7 hour drive. So will you Matilda Rose take me, Charlie Green, to be your husband?"
I look down to see Gina sitting right in front of me and hold her up to Mattie.
"Yes, yes, yes, yes. I love you Charles."
Mattie takes Gina from my hands and I pull her into a kiss. The moment she said yes, a tattoo of a white snowflake appeared on her and Gina's forehead at the same time and then disappeared.
*Snowdrop's POV*
I crawled back out from under the car and shifted back so I could pretend that I hadn't moved. Charlie came back from his very long make out session, and then told us to follow him inside
'Star, hurry up I already have everything.'
'Coming' She follows me inside the house, the second I step through the door there are about 16 pairs of eyes on me. I just follow Charlie as he motions me to sit in the center and I comply. I sit down and star jumps up into my lap.
"Hello everyone, I would like to introduce you to Snowdrop and Star. They will be staying with us for a week, her family has some affairs to deal with. Please treat her kindly, and in other news, Alpha Ace will be returning soon from his meeting where he successfully created made another ally. He says we should throw a party in celebration of our 3rd new ally."
With that everyone cheered and got to work. Matilda ran up to me and told me to go to the top floor where the remaining vacant rooms are. I pick up Star and quickly run up stairs, knowing she can't handle noise. I finally get to the 6th floor and see only five rooms, two of them have their doors open so I assume no one is there.
I look at both and choose the one that is closer to the forest and walk in, the room is the size of the entire shelter. I walk over to the bathroom and see it is about the same size, after admiring the glorious room I place down our bags. I place star down on top of our stuff and she promptly fell asleep, I use this moment to my advantage and walk towards the window facing the forest and open it. The cold entered the room quickly, so I had to act fast. The moment it opened I got out, shut the window, and jumped onto the roof to just lay there and wait for the party that is being setup in the backyard for the Alpha.
-1 hour and a half later-
"SNOW, WAKE UP!" Charlie starts to yell
"What time is it?" I shout back.
"Time to get yo lazy butt off the roof and meet our Alpha." I look down from the roof and see him shouting from the ground.
"Give me a sec I am jumping down!" I don't want to go down all those stairs.
"JUMPING? THE PACK HOUSE IS SIX LEVELS ARE YOU CRAZY?"
"I'm not crazy." I jump down and land on my feet. "I'm a cat."
Try to get around that one sucker.
