I was sitting in the hospital waiting for my grandmothers Doctor to come out and tell me what's going on. While I was sitting there crying , pastor was talking to me about how God has a plan for me and its the right plan. About 10 minutes later of prayers and tears, the doctor asks for me. While standing waiting on a response from the doctor, he looked at me and my pastor saying how sorry he was for my lost.

" Nooooooooo!! " i screamed and i just let the pain drop me to the floor.

" can i see her ? " i asked the doctor that really tried to save my grandma life.

" you sure can. Saying goodbyes are very important in times like these. " he said and walked away.

While i was walking down the hallway, my heart just felt broken. Every step I took, the closer I felt to my grandma. The other thing that was going on in my head was who would kill my grandma? She wouldn't hurt a fly. My father always told me to never show my pain. It shows ny weakness.

I get to my grandmas room and i walked over to her. She looked like she was sleeping so peacefully. I wanted her to wake up so bad and tell me how much she loves me.

" grandma? " as i look at my grandmother

" i love you so much and i know this was not gods plan for someone else to take your life. I want to thank you for giving me a chance to live with you. Your gone now and i need to woman up and start taking care of myself cause i know that's what you would have wanted me to do. Im gonna miss you granny. I love you. Bye. "

After my heartfelt moment with my deceased grandma, i kissed her on her cheek and i closed her eyes. After, i put her hands over her heart with this cross necklace she gave me for Christmas one year and then I started walking to the door.

I turned around one more time to see my grandma. I closed the door behind me.

As im walking down the hallway of the hospital, i see Trey and Q asking the receptionist about my grandma and me. I walked over to them and just started crying.

" what happened MiMi?? " Trey asked me with concerned eyes.

" me and my grandma was on our way to church and when we get there. We step out and i hear 3 gun shots but im down looking for my grandma. I look up and my grandma is on the ground with 3 gun shots in her chest. " i said with a hurt heart.

" we are gonna find out who did this to your grandma. I promise. " Q said.

" thank you. Can yall take me home so i can get some sleep. " i asked them cause i still had on my church clothes.

" sure. You know i care about you. Do you need me stay with you tonight? " Trey asked.

" please. " i responded back.

As we are all in the car, its silent. Trey drops Q off at her car and 15 minutes later we pull up at my grandmas house.

" im bout to take a shower. Do you want the guest room or the couch? " i asked him cause i needed to know.

" i dont mind taking the couch. " he said.

I took a shower that took a long time cause i was crying the whole time.

As i get out the shower, i checked on Trey and he was sleep on the couch so i grabbed a blanket and placed in on him. After that, i let sleep take over me as i laid in my grandma bed thinking of her and my life.
