I wake up to my mom and dad screaming in my grandmas living room. I get out the bed because my dad is suppose to be deployed and my mom is suppose to be in Atlanta.

As i go down the hallway i hear the words that are being said.

" She cant live on her own. She will never survive. " my mother said. It hurts.

" why dont you believe in your own daughter? After you and me, she is the next on to take over the family. " my dad told her with a curious voice.

My dad always had faith me. My mom just loves to beat on me. Thats why i had to move with my grandma.

" you never believe in me Robert so why should i believe in her?!? " my mom said even louder than before.

As im standing in the hallway, i hear my mom coming. Where did my dad go?

" you stupid lil bitch. I hate you ! " my crazy mom screamed those words and came charging after me with a knife in her hand.

I run to my grandma room and lock the door.

" MIMI! MIMI! " Trey screamed at me.

I woke up sweating and pacing my breath. Thinking all that was real.

" You was having a nightmare so i came to wake you up. " trey told me holding a cold wet rag to my forehead.

" thank you " i told him taking the rag from him.

" do you need me to sleep with you tonight? I promise i wont touch or hurt. I just want to hold you. " he said.

After he said that, i nodded and he laid next to me. As my back is touching his stomach, he wraps his arms around my body.

" i promise to never let you go " trey said and after that i felt safe and let sleep take over me.

TREY POV

I wake up to a blanket over my body. The only person I know that would do that is MiMi.

As im walking down the hallway to go to the restroom I hear MiMi screaming. I rush to her room with my gun ready.

I peek in her room and it looks like MiMi is kicking in her sleep. I figure she is having a nightmare so i rush to the bathroom and i grab a rag and wet it with cold water.

I lay next to MiMi and lay the damp rag on her forehead and start to scream.

" MiMi! MiMi! " I scream until she wakes up.

She starts to wake up and she is sweating hard asf. She is pacing hard too.

I let her know how she was havinng a nightmare. She thanked me for being by her side. I want her to know I really care about her.

I seen how sleepy she was so after her approval, i promised her i would never let her go. She fell asleep in my arms and I fell asleep by her scent.

I wake up to the smell French toast, scrambled eggs, grits, hashbrowns, and turkey bacon.

I walk to the kitchen and Trey is cooking. He has his shirt off and is playing Jesus Saves by Tasha Cobbs on my bluetooth speaker. I love that song so much.

" good morning. I figure you would be hungry when you woke up. I didnt want to wake you cause you was sleeping so peacefully. " trey told me handing me a plate and some apple juice.

" thank you " i said.

" no problem ma. I care about you. " he said with a smirk on his face. He is so handsome.

*TREYS PHONE RING*

Trey: wassup

Trey: swear?

Trey: ight, one

*TREY HANGS UP*

" is everything okay? " i asked with a curious tone.

" yeah. Ill be back to check on you. " Trey said and kissed my cheek before walking out the door.

I look confused and upset. I ignore it and proceed to my closet to pick out my outfit of the day.

I pick out a black crop top and some white high waisted shorts and some red future jordans. I was looking good.

I walk out the door and proceed to walk to the store. As im walking, a black mysterious car is following me. I run for my life. The car rushes to my side and pulls me into the car.

" hello MiMi. You dont know me but i know you. " the pretty black girl says.

" who are you and how the fuck do you know me? Let me out the car. " i tell the female because i want to get out.

" dont worry about that and just stay the fuck away from my man. " she says and slaps me in my face.

Next thing you know im pushed out the car and is now standing somewhere i thought i would never be at again...
