2. Blindy friend

Today was the day when they were going to Diagon Alley. Aline couldn't feel happier.

They were going to travel by floo powder, so she dressed all in black. Her hair looked from the distance, the blue overcoming in all the black clothes.

She took the powder and got into the chimney. Then she threw them, and was going to shout "Diagon Alley" when Peter entered to the kitchen.

"Lin, Lin, dad went to Potter's house, so I'm in charge when we enter to Diagon Alley, right? We are going on our own"

"To Potter's house?" she said, but then she realized that she said it aloud, too late. The last thing she saw was her brother shouting at her. Then the fire wrapped her.

She swallowed some ashes when the floor finally stopped shaking. Someone was shouting

"Mom!!! There's a girl in the chimney!!!!"

"I'm coming, Jamie..." said a young woman's voice

Aline opened her eyes, and stared at a pair of hazel eyes watching her

"Emmm... I think this is not Diagon Alley" she said worried.

"Mmm you are right, here is not Diagon Alley" said the kid, James, as his mother had called him

"Well... Hi! I'm Aline Pettigrew"

"Ooooh Pettigrew, your father is here. Mark, no?"

"Yes, he is my father" said Aline relieved.

"Are you going to stay in the floor?" He asked funny looking at Aline, who was lying at the floor.

"You're floor is sooo comfortable..."

"Come on, let's go with your father..."

They entered in a large room, and Mark jumped when he saw his daughter with James.

"Lin?? What are you doing here??"

"Weeell, it's a very funny story..." she started "we were going to Diagon Alley... but then Peter said something and I repeated it and...."

"Ok, ok, I believe you, stop shouting! Then we talk, so James? Would you play with Lin until we go?"

"Of course Mr. Pettigrew!! I have lots of free time. Let's go Lin" he said taking Lin's hand and running to his room

They started to talk and play, of Hogwarts, quidditch, Hogwarts, candy... They both wanted to be at Gryffindor's house

Also, James got fascinated with Lin's hair, combing it again and again, all the afternoon.

"I love you hair!!!" he was shouting with girly voice. "Would you..."

"No, I'm not going to give you my hair, Jamie..." she said with the same voice.

When the afternoon finished, they were just like brother and sister

Mark finally told Aline they had to leave

"Are you going to visit me?" asked James very excited

"Of course Jamie, we are friends now, no?"

"Yes, you're right little cookie eater" he said because of her blue her

"Bye, blindy" said Aline before leaving

When they arrived to home, they found Peter crying.

"My sister, my sister, I lost her... Why??!?!?!?!?!?" he cried

Aline thought he looked adorable, and was going to tell him everything was okay when he started to cry louder

"NOW WHO WILL MAKE ME COOKIES?!?!?!"

"Oh, you didn't said that" thought Aline funny. He was going to pay

"IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!" Aline shouted behind him

"MOOOM!!!" cried Peter as a girl, and then fell to the floor

Mark and Lin started to laugh loudly while a yellow spot was expanding around Peter

"Iugh Pet, that's gross" complained his father

Aline couldn't feel happier (again). She had a new friend, she wasn't a squib and there were just a few days before going to Hogwarts.
