Chapter Twenty.

I felt a stir, my eyes felt heavy, my body felt drained, but I forced them alive when I knew for sure that I felt the electricity of my mate holding my hand.

"When is she going to wake up? If that didn't work.." I heard my mate growl out slowly, and I squeezed his hand a little..

"Stop interogating people babe." I mumbled, my voice was as a croak, and I turned on my side to snuggle up to his arm that was connected with his hand. My side felt uncomfortable, and soon the pain set in and I yelped lowly, turning back on my back but bringing his willing arm with me.

"Mate, open your eyes." I heard Kale say but I ignored him, snuggling into the covers even more.

I heard his sigh of frustration and a little snicker, but I ignored it. Then I felt his electric hand go under the cover and touch my face, and I snuggled into his hand.

I felt the covers move off my face.

Then I felt lips on mine, and when he tried to pull back I tried to sit up to follow so we didn't have to break, then I felt pain.

"What is that annoying feeling.." I snapped, finally opening my eyes, accidentally making all contact from my mate gone while I pulled up my little gown and examined the huge bruise on my side, and all of the memories rushed to me. I ignored the pain as I tried to get up, but Kale grabbed me and restrained me.

"I need to talk to Jack. Now." I said but he shook his head.

"You need rest. No work -"

"I'm prefectly fine, just let me talk to my alpha." I snapped unconsiously and he growled.

"Perfectly fine? You almost died from that little trip you made. Do you even understand the worry and hurt you caused everyone? Jack went to work while you were in the hospital, great alpha. Real caring." he said sourly but with a hard tune.

I sat back and ran a hand down my face.

"I didn't know I was going to get shot.. Jack; He's a caring alpha.. I told him that name because it was for me.. The work he's been doing since I've been unconsious," I took a deep breath in and faced him slightly more.

"It is all for me.. I need to talk to him, urgently.. And I'm too weak to mind link him. Please get a hold of him and bring him over so I can tell him everything before he puts the whole pack into jeapordy." I said and he looked at me for a moment.

"Fine. I'm guessing you want your parents, and your uhm.. Brother here, right?" he asked and I smiled a bit and nodded.

He leaned forward and put his lips to mine, and I pulled back quickly though.

he growled but I shrugged lightly. "If it's been a day that I've been out, then my breath stinks, and I don't want you to you know.. Smell or taste that." I said and I heard two chuckles. I looked to see marius.

"Marius, what are you doing? Kale, you let him out!" I smiled really big and he smiled and nodded.

"Ya. And while I get a hold of Jack, you two talk.. He's going to tell you something, and I'd rather you not ask why until your family and people come by. Promise?" he asked and I shrugged.

"I'm just glad I finally broke you down and got him out." I smiled as he rolled his eyes but leaned in for a kiss, but I turned my head away. He growled and grabbed my face, turning me to him and crashing his lips to mine lightly.

I heard an awkward cough but Kale ignored it as I melted into the kiss. He sighed and pulled back and walked out of the door.

Turning to marius, I felt a little tinge of pink come as he was staring at me, and most likely Kale..
