This is the kind of mentality that successful people have. They don't care of whatever factors that come along their way, they just concentrate on their ability to do whatever it takes to achieve the kind of results that they wanted. Often times, this is what most of us don't have. And we rather play the victim's role for whatever happens to us. So, how do we play the role of the victim?

Blaming. Most of us are masters of this game. We often blame the government for not giving us what we wanted as citizen but we never ask ourselves what we can do to contribute. We blame our company for not giving us a pay hike and yet, we are still working on that same company. We blame the stock market for a loss in stocks investment, and yet we are still buying stocks. We blame our team members or officemates for a failed project, and yet we still continue working with them. We blame our upline for a failed business and yet we never did our part on the business. There are always people that we tend to blame and usually those people in the proximity found themselves unlucky enough to be around us. We always pretend to be the good guy and the problem is always them.

Justifying. I must admit, I'm very good at this one. My friends even told me I have amulet for this as I always justify any wrong things I have done. I always make sure that whatever it is, I can explain myself clearly and maintain the position and status of being a good guy. Justifying is giving an excuse for yourself for not performing or doing well on your task or assigned duty. While this may sounds good to you at present, habitual doing it may put your mind on a state believing that justification is good. You may end up using same excuses again and again. By playing this justifying game, we can never achieve our maximum potential and success that we all longed for.

Complaining. Who else never complain? I guess most of the people do, and most of the people are not successful. Majorities are doing it, and majorities are following the same complain game. There are times when complaining are good but sad to say, most of the times it isn't good. Have we realized the effect of too much complaining? As you see, there is a saying that says "What we focus on expands." Whenever we complain, we always think of the bad side or maybe the worst thing that we can ever think of. Having this negative thoughts lingering on our mind, it attracts other negative thoughts. The results will be our mind, full of garbage thoughts that keep on accumulating thru complaining. So instead of complaining, why not shut up and think of way to resolve the issue. Successful people think this way and they themselves by focusing on the solution not on the problem.

I pledged myself to stop playing the victim's role anymore. Whenever I played any of the above, I will pinch my skin or ask someone to do it for me. This way, I will be reminded to rethink and have the positive outlook in life. Successful people can, and I believe we can do it also. Let's start on these simple steps.

All this came to me upon reading a book from T Harv Eker entitled Secrets of Millionaire's Mind. I advice you all to grab a copy of the book and start the secret of becoming successful in life. Roads towards there seems never ending and bumpy, but I will definitely reach the end. Come and join me, we will go there together. Let's start by empowering ourselves!
