After a long wait in Starbucks, mom finally shows up. "There you are!" She says as she walks in my direction. "Did you have fun? Did you make any new friends?" She says. "Yeah, it was great. I made friends with these two girls, Olivia and Mary." I tell her. "Oh that's nice!" I decided to not tell her about the Kian thing. Just In case she decides to tell dad. We walk back to the car and I feel my phone vibrating in my hand. I look down its an text from Kianrobertlawley@icloud.com (this is not kians real email) i smile and stare at my phone. My mom notices, and looks at my screen. "Who's that from?" She says staring at me. "Oh it's from Mary." I say lying. "Really, her email starts with Kian?" She asks, looking more suspicious bye the second. "Oh, she just really likes Kian. That's all." I say lying again. "oh, ok then. That's fine, I just thought it was actually Kian's email." I look at the window to wipe the sweat off my forehead. Thank god she believed my lie. "Is there a problem sweetie?" She asks looking at me through the rear view mirror. "No, just thinking." My mom winks at me and asks... *I hold my breath waiting for her response.* your thinking about summer aren't you?" She says softly to me, like I'm a fragile 5 year old. "Yeah." I say totally lying again. "I think her mom will be ok." She says even more compassionately than before.(if that's even possible.) "thanks." I say not meaning it at all. She smiles at me, then goes back to concentrating on the road. We make it home within the next couple minutes. as we reach my house , and go through the driveway gates. There's piper out with my dad learning how to ride her bike without training wheels. I hop out of the car and rush to the door. I open the door and run upstairs to my bedroom. I lock the door behind me and crawl into my bed. I unlock my phone and go to texts. I tap on kian's text and read it. It states, "do you want to hangout with me tomorrow night at the skateboard park?" I look at the text and internally scream! I read it over and over multiple times, and finally responded. "Of course I would love to! What time?" I hit the send button and impatiently stare at my phone waiting for a response. After about 30 seconds I put down my phone and stare at my ceiling. Some time passes and I hear I buzz come from the right side of my head. I pop up and grab my phone. "Oh." I say disappointed at what I see. It's just a notification about snapchat. I throw my phone back down. And as soon as it touches the blanket, it makes another buzzing sound. Again, I sit up with my eyes widening. It's a text from Kian. I type in my password as fast as my fingers can move. I read the text it says... "awesome il meet you their at 8:00 bring a skateboard of some type if you have one!" I smile at my phone. Just as I manage to type back, "awesome see you there!" And hit the send button, someone is banging on my door. "Coming!" I yell. I open the door it's my mom telling me to come outside to see piper,Because piper wants me to watch her. "Fine." I say and trial behind mom all the way to the driveway. Where pipers wobbling trying to steer the moving bike. Then once she almost reaches the end of the driveway my dad stops the bike. Then pushes her back up for another go. I watch them do that for a good hour then go back inside for dinner. I eat dinner , thank my mom and head back to my bedroom. I go back into my bed and check my phone it's another text from Kian. "Cool can't wait to see ya!" I smile at my phone. Then I walk over to my speakers and hook up my phone, and start playing 7/11 by Beyoncé. The lyrics "smack it smack in the air, legs moving side to side, smack it smack it in the air!" Blast through my room. I go to my desk and start completing my homework for science. Then I suddenly remember,how am I supposed to meet Kian tomorrow night without my Parents consent. "Maybe il just sneak out or something crazy like that?" I think to myself.
