Hi dear readers, sorry for the long wait, had to do some serious high schooling...But no worries, now I intend to be more updateable! Yes, I just made that word up, do you have a problem with that?
...No, seriously, do you?
Anywho, on with the story!....................................................................................................................................................
Japan's POV...no yaoi senses this time though...
I opened the door to the study, quickly turning and shutting it behind me before turning back around. Walking in, I immediately noticed the large bookshelves filled with dozens, maybe even hundreds, of old books of various size and color. Turning to my left, I noticed a mysteriously familiar object on a table. Walking over for a closer inspection, I exclaimed my findings out loud.
"T..this is...an ordinary riceball!"Suddenly, I felt the temperature in the room start to drop, becoming noticeably colder than before. This ominous feeling, I should probably leave now. I walked over to the door, only to find it locked. Turning back around, I nearly jumped out of my skin as I came face-to-face with the strange scone creature from before.
"YoU...WiLl...NOt...EScApE..." A hoarse voice croaked out from the creature, as it initiated a battle with me. Quickly dodging away from it's talons, I used my scabbard, and sliced it across it's legs while I ducked under and through the thigh gap in between the large gray limbs. Running away, I glanced behind me, noticing how much slower it moved before I turned a corner and stopped. A dead end, fantastic, I thought, before noticing the glint of something shiny on the ground. I found it, it's the key! Now I can get out of here!
Bending down, I quickly grabbed the object, only to look back up and see the creature at the other end of the hall. Not wanting to waste energy and fight it again, I decided to use my surroundings to my advantage. Running straight at the monster, I jumped to the side, leaping off the wall diagonally and flying over the creature. Landing silently on my feet, I sprinted back to the door, hurriedly trying to force the key into the lock. I cursed my bad karma as I dropped it, quickly glancing behind me to see the creature moving in for the kill before diving down and grabbing it. Successfully placing it into the lock, I turned the handle right as I felt fingers brush my spine, freeing me and causing me to slam the door shut behind me.
"...Wha...What on Earth was that thing!? I have to find the others as soon as possible." Quickly, I journeyed through the house, searching everywhere possible before stopping at the door which led to Germany's room. I'll leave him alone for now, I still have to find the other two. Sighing wistfully, I made my way back to the only place left for me to look, which was the same place where I last saw the thing.
Placing one hand on the handle of the door, I gripped my scabbard with the other one, before quickly opening the door. Nothing was in here this time, strange. Looking around, I noticed yet another key, glittering like a bedazzled vampire in the light. A key? I hadn't noticed it before. Maybe that Thing dropped it during our fight. Picking it up, I made my way back in out of the study, preparing to test any and every door with it.
