I wake up to a banging headache. I look over to see that Ayden's awake.

"Ayden?" I ask. I look to see that he's actually awake. "Ayden!" I reach over and hug him. "I'm so glad you're okay, I was so worried." I say into his chest. "Please say something." I look up at him.

"Who are you?" he asks and my eyes immediately change moods. How does he not remember me? What's wrong with him?

"What?"

"Should I know you?" he ask, trying to make me feel a little better. "Wait... you're... Molly." He slowly says.

"Oh my god..." I trail off. "Katie!" I get up and rush to the bathroom.

"He barely knows me, Katie. Why doesn't he really remember me?!" I yell at Katie.

"I-I don't know, I think he's suffering from memory loss. You did say he fell and hit his head last night when you knocked him out, right?" She tells me.

"Yeah... oh god, this is all my fault."

For the next hour, I try to explain things to Ayden.

I tell him that we met on a flight to England a little less than a year ago. I make videos on YouTube with my friend. I tell him that he and I started dating, but then after two months of that, we broke up and started having to fake our relationship to the press and everybody else.

After about five months of that, we "broke up" but then started seeing each other again secretly. We did that for a while, then I got accepted into UCLA and went there.

Ayden remembers some things from the beginning of our relationship, but not all.

"Ayden," I walk up to him and stand in front of him, caressing his face. "What is the last thing you remember?" I slowly ask, hoping it's something good.

Ayden thinks for a minute. "I was... in front of your school. You had pink hair and it was longer. I picked you up from school and we went to my flat." he pauses. "Things happened." Ayden smirks at me.

That was before we started dating. When we still had that spark.

"Oh my god, Ayden." I reach up and wrap my arms around him, holding him close.

"I got your text, Molly." a familiar voice says behind me. I turn around to see Jase.

"Thank god you're here." I give him a quick hug and let him talk to Ayden. I explain to him what happened.

"Ayden remembers very little. He remembers the first time he picked me up from school and we went to his flat." I pause. "I missed my classes that day. It was my first day of school." I smile at the ground, remembering the day clearly.

"So you guys still have a chance." she tells me.

"What do you mean?" I ask, looking at her.

"Well, neither of you have fucked up yet. It's like a fresh start."

It's like a fresh start.

She's right. Neither of us have done anything bad to the other yet. He thinks we're perfectly fine. Should we resume our relationship?

This is the Ayden who always is spontaneous. This is the Ayden who doesn't drink daily. This is the Ayden who hasn't started smoking cigarettes. This is the Ayden I fell in love with.

"Does he know any of the songs for tonight? Do you guys have to cancel the show?" I ask Jase.

"He knows some, but not all. We need to take him and rehearse until it starts. Is that okay?" he asks back.
