you woke up in a warm room, feeling someone at your side, you looked over and saw him sleeping peacefully at your side. you smiled at him, he looked peaceful. you heard him shift and your heart skipped a beat, it always skipped a beat around him. he lifted his head and looked up at you with puffy red eyes, as if he had been crying, and then suddenly the memories came crashing back, you were terrified but you didn't dare tell him that it would absolutely crush him if you told him. you saw a tear streaming down his face, as if he had been awake the entire time, you wiped away the tear and smiled softley.
"(y/n)?" he said cautiously, looking almost like a kicked puppy. "it's okay alois, I'm fine now" you said reassuringly. its almost as if his face actually lit up when you told him you were okay, he tightly wrapped him arms around you and apologized more times than you could count. you looked at the clock and saw that it was already late. he cuddled up next to you and you both fell asleep peacefully.
you woke up the next morning to find that he wasn't beside you, you guessed that he had already woken up and gone down stairs. you carefully stood up and swung your legs out from under the covers, shuffling them into your plush slippers. you stood up and slowly, but surely walked out the door and into the long hallway.
you stood at the top of the stairs looking down into the foyer, expecting more people to be there, but to your surprise there wasn't a single butler or maid. you lugged your feet, which seemed to be getting heavier down the large staircase and into the livingroom. no one in there either, there didn't seem to be anyone in the entire house, you wondered where they could've gone, but you hadn't much time for that. as someone was standing right behind you in the doorway, someone you despised with a burning passion. Ciel Phantomhive. "Looking for someone?" he mused as he saw the shocked expression on your face as soon as you turned around. "what are you doing here?" you asked, the words rolling off your tongue, laced with pure hatred and loathing. "just having a little fun" he replied in a singsong tone, telling you that he had done something, something absolutely terrible. "What did you do?" you said, advancing a step towards him. something on his face told you that he had done what he had done in your past life. taken alois away from you, taken him away to a horrid place. You grabbed him by the collar and gritted your teeth "where is he?" you asked impatiently. "I haven't the slightest clue what you're talking about" he smirked, knowing this would only make you more anger. "I'll ask you one more time phantomhive, where. THE. FUCK. IS. HE?" you sneered, tightening your grip on his collar. "What if I don't tell you?" he smiled again obviously amused "Oh, you'll tell me, you'll definitely tell me" your eyes burned with mischief as you saw the fear spark in his eyes.
As expected, even the toughest couldn't withstand your wrath. You had figured out alois's location and were currently on your way there, you had been informed that there were numerous armed guards that would be awaiting your arrival, prepared to shoot you if necessary, but you had already taken care of them, you knew people who knew people. you walked the long winding path, seeing holes left by bullets and blood stains on the path, you knew they had done their job right, and that this would be a walk in the park, well the forest to be more exact, you could see him in the distance and began to run, running towards him as if he was your last hope, because he was, he was the love of your life. suddenly, yours ears started ringing and everything went white, except for one spot of red, which you could tell was your own blood, the last thing you heard was alois calling your name before everything went completely blank.
you woke up, In a large bed, but it wasn't the one at alois's mansion, it was more, vintage. the walls were red and gold, it reminded you of your past life. a doctor seemingly from the past century stepped in the room and called out with joy, explaining how ciel phantomhive had shot you as he was falling from a balcony and you had been in a coma for months. "a coma?" you thought to yourself and blinked, does this mean that, that life had been nothing more than a dream? a fantasy? that you were back where you began, back where it all started? you swung your legs out from the covers, to reveal your favourite dress, you supposed that they would've burried you in it if you hadn't have woken up. you took a few steps and twirled, to see if it was real. feeling your dress flow around you, you knew it was real, and if it wasn't it certainly felt real. you looked out the window, only to see rain, but rain was better than nothing. you ran out the door, despite the worried cries of the doctor, and twirled in the rain, feeling the cool drops on your face, it was amazing/ amazing to feel at home again. you heard someone shouting your name from the doorway, alois. you turned and smiled at him, your hair wet and messy, he came running to you, picking you up and twirling, you both laughed, staring into eachothers eyes and getting completely lost, you felt like you could've stayed there for hours, or even forever, forever in this perfect moment.
you sat in front of the fireplace, wearing one of his shirts, which was obviously too big for you, but you wore it anyways. you sat beside you and handed you a cup of tea, wrapping an arm around you. " I was worried you weren't gonna wake up" he said, staring at the fireplace. "I thought I wasn't going to wake up either, I felt like I was dreaming" you said, resting your head on his shoulder and sighing, "It wasn't a bad dream though, you were in it and we were still together, but everything was different, it felt foreign and different, it didn't feel right" you continued. you continued to talk on and on about the dream you had, when suddenly he abruptly cut you off, gently pressing his lips against yours, you were surprised at first, but eventually melted into it, you liked this feeling, it was warm, It made you feel like you belonged. that was the one weird thing about the dream, alois always seemed so colds, but the real alois was warm, despite what others may think. you knew that about him, you may have been the only one who knew that about him, but you were okay with that, and so was he.
