You woke up snuggled against him, still in his oversized shirt, hair still slightly damp. you couldn't see much, you were adjusting to being back in reality, no flashy clocks or cell phones, boy what a dream that was. it was still dark so it must not have been morning yet. you sighed and balled your hands, listening to his heartbeat, listening to how steady it was, it was such a lovely dream, you almost wish you could go back and forth from reality and fantasy, almost like a kill switch. you wondered what would've happened. if your dream self really made it to alois, or if she was shot dead. you decided not to let it get to you and you closed your eyes and drifted off to sleep yet again, your eyes slowly closing, the last thing you heard was the soft beating of his heart.
you opened your eyes, only to find yourself back in the room, still wearing his shirt, but he wasn't there, it felt like deja-vu. you decided not to go out into the hall and look, being as the only thing you were wearing under his shirt were panties. you called for one of the maids and were soon dressed in another one of your favoured dresses, this one not as formal, but just as cute. you slipped on the matching flats and walked down the halls, calling his name a couple times before deciding to check his study. you probably should've checked there first. but hey, whatever. you gently knocked on the door before a voice called out "come in". you gingerly opened one of the doors and peeked inside, before cautiously stepping in, you saw alois and ciel, engaged in a game of chess, the moment you saw ciels face you stumbled backwards, that face terrified you. "whats wrong? you seem pale" ciel said, almost amused. alois walked over to you and felt your forehead, "you don't feel hot, did something frighten you?". "no, I guess I'm feeling rather light headed" you said, moving away slightly. You supposed alois didn't remember what had happened, he also didn't know what had happened in your dream. You thought it was for the best that he didn't remember, If he did, things would be way more chaotic. "Would you like to watch us play?" ciel gestured to the chess board. "certainly!" you smiled, trying desperately to hide your fear, this was certainly going to be an interesting game....
