Can Life Get Better? #edited

Chapter 1

"Priya", my mother wakes me up in the morning. "Mama just 5 minutes more!!... pleaseee" I go to sleep again. Then I hear my alarm ring and I had to wake up!

It was freezing!! I was getting late for school so I took a quick shower and went down for breakfast. "Good morning darling" my dad calls out to me, the person I love the most. I drank a glass of juice, toasted two pieces of bread and left for school.
My mother always scolded me for not waking up early and being late for school. I drove to my school. I went to my locker and took the book I needed and went to my English class.

"Hey" Kathy came up to me and say beside me. "Hii babe" I said. "Blake asked me out finally" she literally screamed attracting almost the whole class's attention. Blake was her crush who she liked since 4 years. Actually I was the one who told Blake about this and guess wat he also liked her!! So I basically played cupid for them. But if I tell this to Kathy she will kill me. So I decide not to tell her anything and go with the flow!!

I was the kind girl who dated a lot of guys but din't find anyone who I could say was 'my type'. Still in search of my prince charming(laughs). The boy who I lived with all my heart and soul is in India...

The English class starts, Ms. Brown entered. As she entered my heart started beating very fast because she was going to tell us our marks!!
She called out a few names and then it was my chance, "Priya ( which she said as Paoriya) is the higgest in the class." I was very happy.

The day passed and I got to know my History, Physics, Geography and Biology. I was the highest in all these subject. I was relived than being happy because my parents are very strict about studies and school.

I went home and told my mother about my marks. She wasn't very happy because she expected more. I hardly cared because it was always like this. She never really appreciated me, so I was used to this. I went to my room, took out my laptop and started to finish my notes.

It was 6 by the time I finished my work. I came down had some snacks and went out for a stroll. The weather was cold, but it felt good when the cold breeze hit my face. I was just walking when I saw a family moving into the house next to ours which had been empty for a few months now. A couple, a boy who must be roughly my age and I must confess, he looked super cute!! He saw me staring at him and waved at me. I realised wat I was doing and immediately looked away.

I want back home and was just thinking wat a fool I had made out of my self!!
