Chasing the drug lord

The accident

Skylers POV
"Sky, can you take out the trash please I'm feeling a bit lazy " asked Angela she was my boss for about some years now and she treated me like her daughter. She owned Angie's pizza shop so she offered me a job since my mom was involved in an accident two years ago and she couldn't provide for us. My dad passed away in the car accident so my sister Samantha  and my brother Zane had to be the bread winners and help take care of mom . Zane worked as a gardener and my sister was a babysitter, although our jobs didn't pay well we managed to survive.

Anyway all I could was help Angela out since she was nothing but good to me. I took the rubbish and I went to the garbage bin that was in an alley . As soon as I opened the bin to my horror I saw a girl that lay there and I thought she had passed out because she was drunk. I checked her pulse there was nothing, her body was so cold and she had a big bump on her head . I quickly went back in the pizza shop and reported it to the police. When they came they asked me to make a report about what had happened and I told them everything .

I got into my car and made my way home, after that long day at the police station I just wanted to get some sleep. I started thinking about what could have happened to that girl from what the police had told me I learnt that the girl was 16 same age as me and that she learnt at Hillbright high school where she used to be the popular girl who bullied two nerds until they started bulling her , the police had told me to go to that School for investigation . The two nerds where our main suspects because Jessica's parents where called to the police station and they told us that Jessica was invited to a party by a girl that just started learning there and it was weird for her to be invited , they also said she was being bullied and a lot of people hated her .

My thoughts where cleared by sounds of cars hooting. There was a car driving towards me in full speed.  The driver's car crushed into mine and pieces of glass got into my eyes and I blacked out .

" is she awake " I heard my sister Samantha say in the background
" as you can see her eyes are closed dummy! " my brother Zane said
" shhh she's waking up ! " my mom said as she saw my eyes open and close , they finally opened but to my surprise I couldn't see anything. I'm pretty sure my eyes were opened but I was so confused I didn't know what was going on until I remembered the accident

" mom I can't see ! " I said in between sobs
" shhh dear the doctor will explain everything " my mom said holding my hand and squeezing it gently and kissing it
" don't worry Skyscraper " my brother said he calls me Skyscraper because I was the tallest in our family though I wasn't that tall. I was a bit tall , middle sized , beautiful, smart and had long blonde hair
" yah Sky we here for you " my sister said .
