Five o'clock, should that mean something? Harry didn't know, but he felt the need to visit the park, Louis was probably there.
He felt it.
When he entered the park, it looked empty at first. The wind teased him from behind, and it smelled like wet grass. That meanwhile it didn't even rain. Even worse, Harry could not remember the last day he saw the drops falling down.
Just when he wanted to turn around and head home, some voice stopped him.
Of course. "I know you would come eventually."
Harry turned around and saw Louis, sitting there, on the wet grass. With his head in a different direction. He totally overlooked him.
"You shocked me." Harry said a little bit frustrated, while walking towards the feathery haired boy that hid himself in his comfy hoodie, giving him such an unreadable glance.
As unpredictable as possible.
"You're going to show me?" Louis asked Harry softly, giving him a little goosebumps. Or it could be because of the cold breeze? Harry didn't know, but his arms were not lying.
"I don't know." Harry whispered softly. He sat down on the wet pasture, the same spot he sat with the boy yesterday, looking at the same lake.
Next to him.
"Do it." Louis forced him, pushing his shoulder a little. His hand was cold, ice cold. Harry could feel it even though he wore clothes, Louis froze his shoulder with just one touch.
"Hmm... No. Just decided that." Harry said cynically and moved a bit away from Louis, leaving him to let go of his shoulder.
Louis sighed with all the energy he got and stared soulless at the lake. "I almost thought you wouldn't come."
"Hmm.. Maybe I should've." Teasing words leaved Harry's mouth, but Louis didn't look amused by it at all. He looked cautious. Drowned in his own thoughts.
If Harry could just look inside his head.
"I wondered," Harry started weakly. "Do you ever feel like, lonely?"
Harry faced the side of Louis face. He stared melancholic without a change in expression.
Looking careless at the world.
"It didn't really bother me." Louis said on a soft note, while his brown shaded hair moved with the wind.
Harry looked away, facing a different direction. "But you still waited here. So you don't mind me."
"I never minded to be lonely." Louis stopped suddenly in his sentence and gripped the sleeves of his hoodie. "I didn't feel anything if I saw people jumping around and having fun with other people. I thought it was just stupid, useless. Why would you make friends if you know they will dump you like trash or ignore you if you're not enjoyable anymore?"
"But?"
Louis looked weirdly at Harry. "What but?"
"You said it on that "but" tone."
Louis turned his face from Harry again and noticeable bit his lower lip. "After you talked to me and accepted me so easily.. I just- don't know."
"What?" Harry said on a questioning tone. Louis ignored him completely, he hid his face in his hoodie and turned his back to him.
"Can you please not look at me for a second?" Louis said with a embarrassed tone taking over his voice.
Harry nodded and turned his back to him, facing two big trees. He felt Louis back shoving against his. His body temperature was warm, warmer than he thought.
