Later on

Your sleep was interrupted by someone shaking you. You lifted yourself up, you had fallen asleep on the bench, Eyeless Jack must of got up early. You looked at the one waking you up and saw, Jeff. "We're leaving soon."

You tiredly nodded. The memories hit you. Hard. "Let's get going. We will start heading West" Jeff said, getting everyone's attention. Looks like Jeff is taking control now..We opened the doors and headed out, there was only two walkers roaming. Ticci Toby easily took them out. Everyone was talking, You stayed in the back, no one noticing, except Jeff. He slowed down as everyone passed him, when you reached him he began walking in your pace,"Hey...you okay?" You frowned and looked at him,"Do I look okay?" He just sighed,"Think of it this way...maybe Masky is back at home. Safe..." You smiled a little bit,"You're pretty bad at comforting people you know..." He only nudged your shoulder. You laughed a bit and pushed him, which made him trip and fall onto the grass. You bursted out laughing catching everyone's attention. Some smiled at you, glad to see you smiling again. You extended a hand to Jeff, he took it and pulled you down onto him. Your faces close to one another. Ben rolled his eyes,"Guys get a room. Seriously." You scrambled up, quickly getting off of Jeff. You cleared your throat and looked away blushing slightly. Jeff's eyes twitched in annoyance. He got up and everyone started walking again.

About two hours passed and everyone was at an old farm, it had a barn and a house. "Huh...this looks like a-" Ben was cut off by a man shouting, we couldn't quite make out what he had said. Toby you and Jeff took out your knives. "Are ya'll friendly?" The man asked,"Depends." Toby said back. We finally could fully see the man. He held up his hands, "Well we are. Anything you folks need?" Ben raised an eyebrow,"Got any food...?" The man smiled,"Actually yes. Mama makes the best food around!" You rolled your eyes and looked at the sign they had, "St. John Dairy." You mumbled. You looked back at the guy, a women who you assumed was his mother came walking out with a basket in her hand,"I thought I saw ya'll with company comin' down the drive!" Her accent annoyed the hell out of you. "Guy's this is our mama." The man spoke. "I'm Brenda St. John and welcome the St. John Dairy!" You faked a smile at her and looked back at the others, you could tell how annoyed they were right now. "And what are your names? I didn't quite catch them." The man spoke. "O-Oh my name is (y/n)." Everyone also said there names with a somewhat friendly manner. Andrew and Danny, the two guys, also introduced themselves.

Then Brenda remember,"These are for ya'll. Baked and fresh this morning." You all stared at the biscuits she offered. "Amazing.." Hoodie muttered."Can't get stuff like that anymore, not without a cow for milk and butter, that's for sure." Danny said. "That's right. Hopefully Maybelle will make it through this bout of whatever she's got and be with us for a good-long while." Brenda said eyes one you. "Your cow is sick? What's she--" Jeff was cut off by Hoodie,"Ej i-is good with animals. H-he use to work with animals, on a farm." You raised an eyebrow looking at Eyeless Jack mumbling,"Seriously?" He smiled and rubbed the back of his neck. "Oh, my! Our prayers have been answered!" She grinned. "M-maybe our whole group c-could stay...j-just for a day." Hoodie said avoiding eye contact with them. Brenda spoke up,"Well how about this, ya'll have your friend look at the cow, and I will prepare some dinner. A big feast for all you hungry souls. It'll be nice to have some folks help out around here again, Danny why don't you come help me out in the kitchen." She looked at her son and he nodded. They headed back to the house.

Andrew stayed behind, he looked at you and hoodie. "Hoodie, (Y/n), why don't ya take a look around. Once ya get settled in, I could use some help securin' the perimeter." You raised an eyebrow,"Is there a problem?" He crossed his arms,"Sometimes, the dead get tangled up in the fence before they fry and end up knocking over a post. It'd be a big help if you two could walk the perimeter. You can learn a lil' somethin' about our fences. I'm gonna go top off the generators before they run dry. Come get me when you're ready." With that he turned and walked to the house. Hoodie hummed in response and looked around. "This place is i-incredible! I-it's got f-food! And t-that fence...oh man that fence!! If w-we play o-our cards r-right, this m-might turn out t-to be a p-place we stay. So h-how do y-you want to p-play t-this?" Toby said looking at the whole group. "Before anything...we half to see if this place is safe." Ben said looking around."Right. Obviously THEY think it's safe, but is it safe enough for the kids? I noticed a broken swing over there. Not a big deal, but maybe there's other things not working that we just can't see yet." You sighed and face palmed,"Toby, honey, how about you go fix the swing for Clementine and Sal?" He grinned and nodded running over there. Sally Followed him. Everyone soon split up looking around. You looked at hoodie who just stood alone. Man...poor hoodie..his partner is gone..they were basically brothers! You patted his back,"Wanna go search the perimeter now?" Hoodie stuttered,"e-eh? Y-yeah." You smiled and went to Andrew. The two of you talked about some things and you found out there were other survivors who stayed at the farm. "Well, were ready to check the perimeter now." "Oh good. The fence stops a walker in about three or four seconds, but gets overloaded if we get the husks out there." You thought for a second,"You know me and Hoodie can clear the fences ourselves if you want to stay and finish up with the generators." He smiled,"Well, that'd be great!" He said a couple things and you and hoodie were off.

You and Hoodie were silently walking until Hoodie broke the silence,"So..w-what do you think of this p-place?" You smiled at him and looked ahead,"It's pretty cool what they did to the place, lets just see how much it takes to secure the fence before drawing any conclusions." "I just hope this game ends soon...I don't remember what happens in this part." He hummed in response. You came across one of the walkers, it was stuck on the fence with a arrow through the back of it's neck. You stuck your tongue out disgusted, a crow hawked and flew away with a scrap of skin in its mouth. Hoodie kicked it slightly making sure it wasn't alive."It's dead Hood." Hoodie gave you his ax and you tried to push it off,"Huh..it's stuck." You took out the arrow and bit your tongue, You tried to push it off again and it worked. You looked at the dead walker,"Come on..i'm sure there's still more." You said and the two of you started walking. "Imagine...n-not having to worry a-about any walkers when the fence are up. That w-would be great.." You hummed,"We have enough people to take this place by force, if we have to." You looked around for anymore damages. Hoodie muttered,"You sound li-like Jeff.." You giggled,"I didn't mean for it to come out that way." Hoodie looked up ahead,"There's another one."

You pushed it off with the ax but the walkers hands were still on the wire. You sighed and cut both of its hands off, and the walker fell."Geez, I can't wait for dinner. I wonder what she's making. I'm surprised they don't mind making dinner for our whole group."

"I just hope J-jeff doesn't have to p-put up a fight with a-anyone..." Hoodie muttered. You guys saw a walker tangled in the wires. The fences were knocked down. "I think it would be better on the other side." Hoodie nodded and jumped over the fence pushing the fence up. You also went on the other side to help. Together you put the fence back in place. But just as you and Hoodie let go, sparks came up. "W-What..?" Hoodie started but couldn't finish."T-The fences are on..." You said and looked at the sizzling walker. "Why the hell w-would he turn t-them on!? He k-knows were out h-here!" Hoodies voice rose. Just then, a arrow came and shot hoodie in the back, he groaned in pain. You could hear a man a little far away,"I told you what would happen, you son of a bitch!" Your eyes widened,"Get to the gate!" And arrow shot right in front of Hoodie and beside. He came to a stop. Arrows shot everywhere. There was no way you were getting out of there any time soon. You looked beside you and saw tractor, you and hoodie hid behind it."You assholes!"

"We had an agreement! Now your fucked!"

Hoodie held his shoulder,"W-who the fuck i-is that?!" "No idea. The fence on that gate is the only way out!" "Cant hide forever!" You pulled a lever up that had the tractor still, and removed a wooden thing, the tractor started to move. The two of you stayed the same pace as the tractor, "If we can get to the gate we can make it back to the house." Hoodie groaned in response. "It's okay Hoodie...we'll get there in no time." The tractor stopped, one of the dead walkers were blocking it, You cursed under your breath and successfully pulled it out. The men were shouting. "get closer!"

"No you fuckers could stay the fuck away please!" You shouted at them. The result was a arrow passing to close by your face. From what you could tell, hoodie was glaring at you from behind,"(y/n)! Be. Careful!" Another dead walker was in the way, You grabbed its wrist but in that moment, The other hand grabbed your wrist, the walker growled at you snapping its teeth. You yelped and struggled to get away, You kicked it in the face twice and pulled. From the stomach up ripped apart. And in disgust you threw it away. The tractor moved again. The walker crawled with its hands in attempts to get either you or Hoodie. A arrow pierced through the walkers head. The tractor came to an end. "Lets go." You guys reached the gate and ran. "You lucky son of bitches! Go ahead and run! We ain't goin' nowhere!"

The two of you made it back.
