Damn Bandits!!!!!

  The two of you made it back.  

Andrew looked up and saw you and Hoodie running, his eyes widened as he started to run to you. You slow down and bent down with your hands on your knees panting, trying to get back your breath. "(y/n)! What's wrong?" Andrew asked as he reached you. Hoodie was next to you holding his shoulder breathing heavily. "The electric fence came on! Some people started attacking from the woods and we got trapped between them and the fence!" You spoke. Danny came running and stood next to Andrew,"Holy shit, are you okay?" He asked. You gritted your teeth, he has a fucking arrow through his shoulder, does he look okay!?

"I...I heard your hooded friend yell and thought ya'll were giving me the all clear! Man, I am real sorry."  Bullshit.

"Oh my Lord! What happened to you, sweetheart?!" Brenda said coming out of the house."It was those bastards in the woods, Mama.." Hoodie winced and whimpered,"I-I'll be o-okay once it's out..b-but it really fucking h-hurts." Everyone came walking together, they saw hoodie and ran towards him,"What the hell happened?" Ben asked. "Are you gonna be okay?"Sally asked looking worried, "Y-Yeah..Don't worry S-Sal.I-i'll just pull it out-" Brenda cut Hoodie off,"Oh no, honey, c'mon, Brenda's got you, C'mon inside now. We'll have to all sorted out." 

You watched as Hoodie, Brenda and Eyeless Jack went into the house. Jeff went up to you,"What the hell happened?!" You sighed, having to explain again,"We ran into some people on the way up here...bandits I guess. I think it was them that attacked us." Andrew spoke up,"They gave us a lot of trouble in the beginning, killed a bunch of our farmhands. We were able to get 'em to stop by makin' a deal." Laughing Jack raised an eyebrow,"You KNEW about these people?"                                                            "Food for protection. Not like we had much of a choice, but they did stop hasslin' us." Danny said. "Tch, i'm not so sure about this place anymore." Ben said glaring at the two guys.You turned to the guys also glaring,"So much for your 'deal'." You could of sworn you saw there face panic for a second,"Those shitheads broke the arrangement! Look, i'm sorry (y/n). If I had any inklin' they were gonna give you guys trouble, we woulda gone out there with you! Listen, we may of had a an agreement with those people, but we will NOT stand for this shit." Andrew said eyeing everyone. "Ain't no way we're gonna let those sons o' bitches get away with this!" Danny said.

Jeff turned to them,"You know where these fuckers are?" Danny glanced at him,"They're hard to pin down, but I think I know where at least ONE of their camps are.When you're ready to go scope out that bandit camp, come find us." With that, they left. You sighed, and turned towards the group. "Bandits? Are you serious? This place isn't safe. We can't stay here." Laughing jack said crossing his arms. Jeff glared at LJ"Not safe?! This place is a hell of a lot safer then that motor inn! I think all of us and our guns can handle a couple of punks with bows and arrows!" Jeff turned to you,"What we need to do is take this place over. Think about it (Nick name), If its just our group we wont have to share anything! And we can take care of those bandits by bringing the heads of thos-" You cut him off, placing a hand on his arm,"Jeff no. There okay people. Lets not do anything to get kicked out. Alright?" He sighed but nodded turning his face away. You smiled,"Alright. I'm gonna head out and help Dan deal with these bandits. You guys should make friends with Andy and Brenda while i'm gone." From far you saw Andrew look at Dan and they nodded to each other. They both walked up to your group. "Hey, I remember seeing kids in your group, so I went ahead and fixed that swing while you were out. Hope you kids like swings!" 'How kind..Tch.'  You faked a smile. "A swing! I love swings! Just like at my treehouse! Come on Sally!" Clementine said excitedly looking at Sally. "Why don't you kids go play on the swing, huh?" Andrew smiled. Sally nodded happily and ran toward the swing with Clem following,"Yeah!" 

"Thanks." You said watching the kids. "Anytime. We're looking out for ya!" Andy turned and walked towards the house. Everyone left going their separate ways. You turned and walked towards Clementine and Sally. Sally was on the swing first, Laughing Jack pushing her. You kneel down in front of Clementine,"Hey, Clem, do you like the swing?" You asked. She nodded,"Yeah! It's fun!"

"Be sure to tell Andy 'Thank you.' okay?"

"I will!" Shes just to adorable.

"Will you push me on it?" She asked. You grinned,"Sure, happy to push you on the swing!" You stood up looking at LJ,"Mind if Clem takes a turn?" Laughing jack nodded turning to Sal,"Alright. Sally it's Clemmys turn." "...Okay." She jumped off. Clementine got on, you started pushing her gently,"How you holding up Clem?" You decided to make small talk. "I'm okay I guess. Are you okay?" You smile went down a bit,"Yeah, I'm just a little worried about Hoodie." "Is Hoodie gonna be okay?" "He got lucky out there. Could of been a lot worse." "Are you gonna find the people who hurt Hoodie?" You stopped pushing her,"We have to make sure they don't hurt anyone else." "Be careful. I wan't you to stay lucky too." Your heart just melted. You smiled,"Ever since I met you I've had good luck, so don't worry." She smiled and paused for a second thinking,"Why do you call him Hoodie?" "W-Well..I don't know really. It's just his nickname. Probably because he always wears a hoodie. His real name is Brian." 

"Oh."

"What do you think about this place?"

"It's pretty, it reminds me of how things use to look before." 

You agreed,"It does.."

"Do you think things will ever get back to the way they were before?" 'No...'  "I'm not sure Clem. I hope so." She looked down,"I hope so, too.." You kept pushing her,"Don't worry Clem..We're safe here now." "As long as the bad people don't get me too,right?" "I won't let what happened to Hoodie, happen to you." 

"Promise?"

"I promise." You gave her a smile,"Alright. That's enough for now." "Okay thanks for pushing me." "Of course." You looked towards LJ,"All yours." He smiled and nodded.You walked away towards the house, opening the gate, you walked up to Dan and Andrew. Andrew spoke up when you reached them,"How are ya feelin' (Y/n)? I'm really sorry you almost got killed out there. We should have told you how dangerous is was." You glared,"No shit Sherlock." Danny spoke shocked from your words,"You saw what they did to your buddy. Nobody's safe here until we start to fight back."But how?" You asked."The two of us should go out and do some recon, then we'll all mount up for some revenge." He crossed his arms. Why does he remind me of Levi so much...-.0'  Andy grinned,"Hell yeah!" You furrowed your eyebrows,"Who the fuck are these people in the woods?" Andy put his hands in his pocket rocking back and forth,"We don't know. We think some of 'em used to work at the big box up the way." Danny looked at his brother,"Save lots." "Yeah. Anyways they're nutty as hell. And get made when their hungry." 

"So are ya ready to head out there and find their camp?"

"Yeah. It'll be a good opportunity to find out a bit more about what we're up against. Let's do it." 

"I'll stay here and hold down the fort."

The both of you nodded and headed out. Clementine noticed and ran to you,"Are you going now?" You smiled,"Yeah, i'll be back soon Clem." She looked down,"Please be lucky.." You kneel down and hug her, she gladly hugged you back. You whispered,"I will." You stood up and walked away. Clementine watched you go, then adverted her eyes downwards.
