Ariana P.O.V

I was anxious and nervous since tomorrow was THE day.

The day, I'd be reunited with my childhood best friend.

Truth was, I'd miss him through everything.

Everything we'd been through was real, and I couldn't helped but think what would have happened if he never left..

"Sweetheart, I'm heading to work now, if you leave send me a text." Mom yelled in a rushed tone.

''Ok bye mom.'' I yelled back.

"Bye." She called back before I heard the door slamming.

Does she even know how to text? I thought, with a giggle.

Ding Dong.

I ran downstairs and opened the door to see Jai standing their.

''Hey babe." He said walking in.

"Oh yeah just come in without an invite." I said sarcastically, shutting the door.

"Aye calm yo biscuits." He smirked.

"What does that even mean?" I said, laughing.

He let his eyes wander to his butt and back to my eyes.

I widened them for a second before giggling.

"So you want me to calm my butt?" I said, once my giggling subsided.

"Yep, 'cause He be all over the place." He said, popping the 'p'.

"JAI!" I cried, stifling my giggles.

"Aye, I'm just saying." He cracked, grinning sheepishly.

''You sure are one of a kind." I said sighing with a smile on my face.

''Of course. I mean, I am, Jai Brooks." He said smiling.

''Your something else." I said shaking my head.

''You love me though." He said walking to me ajd pecking my lips.

"Unfortunately I do." I breathed.

He chuckled and led me outside to his car.

Inside of the car, I sent my Mom a swift text.

"What time is it, babe?" Jai asked, rubbing small circles on my legs.

"2:34pm. Why?"

"I have to go, Sorry babe. I promised I'd babysit, Beau. Lemme drop you off at home, Ari." Jai said, giving me a remorseful glance.

I nodded and followed him out of the beach where we had been watching a drive in movie.

"See you tomorrow?" I asked hopefully once we pulled up outside of my house.

"Actually, I'm going to Florida with my parents.." He said sheepishly.

I nodded, "It's fine, Jai. I'll see you later." I said kissing his cheek.

He nodded and waved before pulling out and driving away.

Jai P.O.V

After I left Ariana's house I drove to my next destination.

I finally got there and ran up to the door before knocking and waiting.

Almost like they were waiting, someone opened it.

''Hey baby i've missed you so much''

She purred.

''Jenette I saw you yesterday." I said sighing.

''And that was too long." She pouted.

I rolled my eyes, She was way too clingy sometimes.

''Yeah come on lets go in." I suggested.

We went to Jenette's and sat on the bed.

''What took you so long to get here?''She asked, taking a seat on my lap.

''Oh I was with Ariana." I told her.

''You need to dump her, she's so ew. She's literally so annoying, I mean honestly who dyes their hair red? That's just stupid. She thinks she's too good because She Can sing, and she's not even that good!" She stressed.

''I thought you were her bestfriend.." I said shocked at what I had just heard.

''And i thought you were her loving boyfriend you even looked like it." She retorted.

I just stayed silent looking in her eyes.

''Like they say, don't ever judge a book by it's cover."
