I felt the tears brim my eyes as I let Justin's little revelation sink him.

What does he know? I thought.

He doesn't even know Jai!

Jai wouldn't do this!

But these itty Bitty thoughts kept pushing into my brain.

Maybe he is different. I thought.

I shook my head, nope. I trust Jai.

My stomach clenched, but it could be true..

I have to know, I decided, as the tears flowed.

Despite all explanations of his presence, I'll hopped in my car and drove to his house.

At his house, my stomach dropped when I saw his car here, alongside his parents.

Breathe. For all you know, they flew and took a taxi. I reasoned, all still never stopping to turn towards my car.

Soon enough I was at the door.

I breathed heavily.

With a shaky hand, I knocked twice.

After a few minutes of footsteps, Jai's Mom, Mrs.Brooks, opened the door with a warm smile.

I gave her my own smile, a tad forced but a smile nonetheless.

She motioned upstairs to me.

I waved and made my way upstairs, all the while with a racing heart.

What if she was here?

What would I do once I knew?

These questions swarmed around my head as I quietly walked to his door.

With, once again, a shaky hand I reached for the doorknob and turned it quietly.

I sighed in relief when I saw his figure, huddled in the blanket.

I smiled and tiptoed to his bed, only for my breath to become uneven.

I heard an immediate moan and saw too huddled figures.

Not one.

Two!

I gripped the hem of the blanket and lifted it up to see Jai kissing Jeanette.

I inwardly groaned as he pulled away, looking like a dear caught in the headlights.

However, Jeanette's facial expression was smug.

I literally wanted to smack it off.

He made a swift jump and stood before me with remorseful eyes.

"Babe! I can explain!" He started.

Most cliche line, ever.

I held up an exhausted hand, kept my head held high, masked my eyes and spoke softly.

"Save it. Too good to be true." I muttered the last part, exiting his bedroom to my car and home.
