After a few more duels it was finally the final duel though it wasn't until morning for the duel. Britt was trying to sleep but she tossed and turned as her bracelet glowed. Britt hated when fragments came like this as she started to cry. Bre had sensed it and went to her side slightly shaking her. Britt sat up fast and opened her eyes. "Britt." Bre said and Britt shook her head "I'm fine. It's nothing, go ahead and go back to sleep. We have a duel to watch tomorrow." Britt said, Bre didn't believe her but nod going back to sleep.

Morning broke as they all woke up.

Britt yawned slightly, she got up from where she was laying then went to get Rei prepared for watching the duel. Bre went out as soon as she was up. "morning" Bre said, "hm, yeah morning." Britt said with another yawn. "the queen isn't a morning person?" Bre said "never have been, probably never gonna be." Britt said

Yami slowly woke up as well.

Britt used some water to wake herself up more. She rubbed her eyes and sighed. "what bothered you last night?" Bre asked and Britt just looked forward. "My past..I keep getting fragments and not all of it is candy canes and paradise." Britt said to Bre as she picked up Rei. Bre knew some things Britt seemed to keep to herself when she remembered. "why won't you let me in?" Bre asked and Britt looked at her "because you're not ready to know." Britt said to her as she went to check on her king. She knew he would share a body with Yugi until the day she'd get him free.

Just as Britt went to check on Yami, Ceon showed up and yawned softly. He was exhausted from being up all night.

Bre was surprised.

Britt though knocked on his door "hey, are you awake?" She asked through the door.

"Yes, my queen." Yami replied

"Morning Bre." Ceon said softly.

Britt smiled hearing that knowing soon it would be the end of the tournament.

"Morning" She said though still surprised "how, were you watching on us?" Bre asked

Ceon was surprised. "You knew about that?" he asked.

"No, I was just asking." She said

Yami finished getting ready and stepped out of the room where he kissed his queen.

Britt kissed him back, Rei laughed a little and Britt looked down at him. she smiled some though looked at her king.

"So in a few years, we'll be able to actually get married again maybe after we remember everything." Britt said, she knew it was something they hadn't talked about since after battle city when finding out about Rei.

Yami smiled. "I'm sure we will." he said. "Those two, on the other hand... Now their situation is a bit different."

"I know, now Bre is caught in a hard place. But she doesn't belong in the future era." Britt said, Rei smiled.

"I know." he mentioned.

"when the time comes, she'll know what to do. I trust in her..only I didn't trust her last night when she woke me up.." Britt said

"Perhaps she was just worried about you." he said.

"I got the worst fragments last night of our past. It was like she knew I was having problems sleeping." Britt said

"Sisterly instincts?" he asked.

"possibly or amulets have a connection." Britt suggested

"That could be it as well." he mentioned.

Britt nod

"In any case, we should head over. It's almost time." Yami mentioned.

Britt nod in agreement
