Gabby's POV

Finally my long day of school and soccer is over.

I grab my soccer bag and backpack and go wait for Dylan to pick me up.

"Hey Gabby do you need a ride home?" One of the girls asks me.

"No thanks, my brother is supposed to be picking me up soon." I smile.

"Alright. See ya Monday." she says and gets in her car and leaves.

I sit down and check my phone, no messages. I hate that I'm 16 years old and can't drive. But I guess I understand, Joey is the only one that could legally teach me how to drive but he never has the time. Besides he's always stressed about figuring out how to pay bills and stuff so I don't really bug him about me taking drivers ed and him finding time to teach me how to drive.

I'm the only girl still here. After about three more minutes of waiting I call Dylan.

{D- Dylan G- Gabby}

D- hello?

G- where the hell are you?!

D- I'm at Cameron's house, why?

G- you were supposed to pick me up today!

D- oh right, sorry. Well can you walk?

G- it's like a million mile walk Dylan, that'll take 40 minutes at least! And I think it's going to rain soon

D- quit being over dramatic and start walking so you don't get stuck in the rain

And after that he hangs up.

What a jerk.

So I decided to call Joey, but he didn't answer. Brady's in class so I can't call him. Looks like I'm walking..

I grab my bags that feel like they weigh a million pounds and start walking to my house.

About twenty minutes into my walk it starts raining, and when I say raining I mean downpour! It's freezing, the wind is going crazy.

God I hate my brother so much.

After the long walk I finally get home. I walk in the front door to see Joey.

"Woah sis what happened to you?" He asks trying not to laugh.

"Dylan happened! He didn't pick me up so I called him and he told me to walk." I say.

"Why didn't you call me?" He asks.

"I did, you didn't answer. And I thought you worked till 6?"  I say.

"Got off a little early tonight for the game, I just got home." He explains.

"Oh hey." Dylan says walking into the room with a smirk.

"Hey. That's all you have to say?!" I shout at him.

"How was your walk?" He asks with a chuckle.

"I though I was clear, you were supposed to pick her up!" Joey shouts.

"I was at Cam's house, I lost track of time. I just got back a little bit ago." He try's to defend himself.

"Dylan I'm serious do you know what could've happened to her?" Joey says.

"Well nothing happened so quit being a little bitch about everything!" Dylan shouts.
