Gabby's POV

We arrived at the party shortly after we left, Maddie only lived a few minutes away.

"Madds don't forget we walked here. Im not carrying you home drunk. I'm serious don't drink too much." I say as we walk up to the house.

"I'll be fine Gabb." She says rolling her eyes. "Now if we get separated, just meet me out front around midnight and we'll head back to my house. Text me if you wanna stay later." She says.

"Alright. Let's go." I say and we walk into the house.

The music is so loud I can barely hear myself think. It smelled so bad, the scent of weed was every where. Wow I love parties, not.

There were multiple people in the living room dancing and making out and others were in the kitchen drinking and some were out back playing spin the bottle by a Bon fire.

I looked around and noticed I already lost Maddie, awesome. I don't know anyone else here.

Then my phone buzzed, I looks to see who it was and it was just a stupid text from Joey.

{J- Joey G- Gabby}

J- got called into work. wanted to let ya know, call or text Brady or Dylan if you need anything. See ya tomorrow❤️

G- okay, love you. Be safe😘

After that I put my phone away and walked to the kitchen to get a drink. There were a couple of people standing around I recognized them from school.

I grabbed a red cup full of beer and walked out.

I was standing around watching everyone dance and have fun as I sipped on my drink. I wish I was more like these kids, more fun and outgoing.

"Hey." Someone says.

I turn to see the one and only Jack Gilinsky.

"What are you following me now?" I ask quietly taking a sip of my drink.

"No, I was invited so my friends and I decided to stop by and check it out." He says.

"Well shouldn't you be with your friends?" I sassily ask drinking my beer.

"Yeah, I should. I just thought you'd appreciate it if you saw me first instead of your brother." He whispers.

"Who Dylan?! He's here?!" I ask.

"Not so annoyed with me now, are you?" He asks as I scan the party looking for him and spot him by the stereo talking to some girl.

"He can't know I'm here." I say. "Seriously the one time I lie to my brothers and go to a party he's freaking here!" I groan.

"Don't worry baby girl. Stick with me and you'll be all right." He says putting an arm around my waist.

"Don't call me that and don't touch me!" I shout pushing him away and moving out of his grip.

"Why not, baby girl?" He asks.

"Because I told you not to. Now leave me alone and just please don't tell Dylan I'm here." I beg.

"Fine, but one condition." He says.

"What is it?" I roll my eyes.

"Tomorrow, we go out to lunch so we can talk." He says.
