chapter 1

I rolled over and groaned my head was throbbing and I had no idea where I was, but when I turned over and looked at who was on the other side of the bed I knew exactly where I was. It was the same place I had been avoiding for weeks.

I peeled the blankets off of me, grabbed my clothes and shoes and walked out of the room trying to be as quiet as I could. I made it all the way down the stairs and half way to the front door before I was stopped

"Again Catalina?" I stopped and cringed hearing my full name. I turned around sighing in the process

"Yes, again Samuel " I rolled my eyes Sammy had always tried to act like he knew what was best for me

He just sighed and shook his head at me. I took that as my opportunity to leave. I shut the house door letting out a breath I didn't even know I was holding. Nate wouldn't remember last nights events, he was too wasted and I was thankful for that. I didn't want him to remember my voice or the way our bodies felt against each other.

I got in my car and shut the door quietly, scared he'd hear and come rushing down begging me to stay like he did the first night I left. I drove to my apartment without breaking down. I got in the shower and did all that business. When I got out I put on a sports bra and a pair of black joggers. I did my makeup and went into the kitchen to get food. I didn't feel like dressing up today and I didn't feel like going anywhere but there was no food.

I put on my shoes, grabbed my keys and wallet and headed to my car. I was probably going to just go to panda express or subway I haven't decided yet. I had no shirt or socks on but oh well it was too late now. I pulled up in the panda express parking lot and got out, locking my car. I walked in praying the line wouldn't be long as fuck. I ended up only waiting two minutes before it was my turn. Damn the cashier was hot let me get them digits boy

"Hello what can I get for you today" Damn his teeth are white

"Cat?" I turned around hearing my nickname

Shit not today I can't deal with this right now. My eyes started to water but I tried to ignore it. I turned around telling the cashier my order then I stepped to the side to wait for my food. I felt someone stand next to me and then wrap their arms around me. I wanted to stay in his arms forever and kiss him and tell him how much I love him but I couldn't so I stood there stiff

"Get off me" I demanded

"Cat, please don't do this again. I miss you baby" his eyes were starting to water now and I looked away feeling guilty

My order was called so I grabbed my food and left without looking back at the person I wanted most in the world. I got in my car and drove away.

"I miss you too Nate" I whispered while stopping at a red light
