BOX

Left something you loved dearly in that cold, old place

Oh, left it there to rot and die

Shut them away in a box of shame

Threw away the key and watched it close to see what they would do

Never knew you were the type to do it

Yeah, never thought it would be you

Guess naivety runs deep like scars

When you tore apart all of our hearts

Those you called 'friends' lie in a heap in the corner

The others you were scared of cry themselves to sleep

Your lover will never speak another word to you but you don't care

You like what you've become and that's how you're gonna stay

Simple requests turn into threats

Conversations into nightmares

Screaming out your name in the dark of night

Waiting for you to surrender and come home

I am prepared to die for you

So would she too

So open up that box of yours by force

And let yourself in again you fool
