"Isn't Jamaica in Africa?"
I facepalmed. This jock was useless.
"No, Cameron. It's not."
"But it sounds like an African name!"
"True, but it's not even close to Africa."
"Then where is it?" He questioned.
"It's an island!"
"Next to Africa?"
"NO!!!"
Then there was an awkward silence.
"Well you learn something new everyday," he said.
Another awkward silence.
"So back to math--"
"Wait Pam," Cameron interrupted.
"What?"
"I'm sorry you get bullied so much. The lessons we had to hear today from every class after lunch, made me realize how much you go through. I want to make it up to you."
"Cam, it's ok. I'm used to it."
"But I feel bad."
"Don't," I said putting a finger up.
He was sitting on my bed while I sat on my desk chair facing him. I turned my chair toward my desk and started to open up the math textbook.
Then I felt my chair turn, and I got dizzy for a second. I closed my eyes. Then the chair came to an abrupt stop.
I opened my eyes and saw Cameron kneeling before me.
"Pam.... I wanted to give you something."
"Uhhh... Ok."
He removed his hands from behind his back which revealed a small black box.
"Cam what are you doing?"
He opened the box and inside was a....
Note.
I took the folded piece of paper out of the box and unfolded it.
Pam!
Roses are red
Violets are blue

-Cameron. <3
"Cameron you don't have to do this if you don't want--"
"I want."
"Cam--"
But I was interrupted by Cameron, who face was so close to mine. Our noses were touching, and I could feel his breath.
