I step out of the shower, dry off, and throw the new clothes on. It's a white v-neck t-shirt with a blue tank top, black leggings and some black boots, along with a gray hoodie. I walk over to the sink and borrow some makeup from the makeup kit. I then brush out my naturally wavy brown hair and leave the bathroom. As I am walking down the hallway I see a picture that reminds me of a memory from back home. I continue down the hallway with my thoughts in my head. I greet Liam who is sitting on the couch next to the stairs.
"Hey, everything alright? What's the long face for?" Liam asks me.
"Oh, nothing I'm alright." I say. I didn't wanna say anything, cause I really like it here, and I don't want to freak Liam out.
"Okay, but I'm always here for you if you want to talk." Liam says. I know he doesn't believe me when I say I'm fine, but he knows I don't want to talk about it. I wonder if he can read my thoughts.
"Not to freak you out, but to answer your question I can read your thoughts, and we can talk when your ready." Liam says in a shy voice.
"Oh, okay thanks for understanding." I say. We continue walking down the hall until we enter a room that looks like a dinning room slash kitchen.
"Your probably hungry, so what can I make you to eat?" Liam said in an excited voice.
"You can cook?" I ask in suprise.
"Yeah I learned from watching cooking shows." Liam says all cool like.
"That's amazing!" I respond, while thinking about what I want to eat.
"I know I got the talent." Liam says.
"Can you make some kind of pasta?" I ask.
"I can make cheese, butter, red or white sauce on hair or bowtie noddles with some delicious flat bread with butter." Liam says, while my mouth waters.
"Oh my goodness, I will have some cheese bowtie noodles with the flat bread and butter." I say really happy.
"And I will be glad to make it." he says.
"So tell me more about this place." I say.
"Well there's not much to tell it explains itself over time, or you could ask one of the others who have been here longer, and know more of the history." he says.
"Oh, then let's talk about you." I say.
"Me, what do you want to know?" he says.
"Have you always been a vampire?" I ask. He doesn't get to answer before someone walks in.
"Hey, Liam is this the newby you we're obsessing about." she says.
"Eve, this is Victoria." Liam says.
"Wow just Victoria, names Victoria Chase, and I don't like new people." Victoria says, and walks out of the room.
"Wow she seems lovely." I say sarcasticly.
"Oh yeah she's something, but she's not always like that she's just jealous." he says.
"So, have you always been a vampire?" I ask again.
"Yes." he says.
"Wow how old are you?" I ask.
"17." he says.
"Oh cool." I say. Liam sets down a bowl of steaming noddles and a plate of flat bread. I begin to eat, and Liam washes dishes.
"Hey, Liam! Is this your mate?" a guy asks.
"Yes, Lucas this is Eve." Liam says.
"Hi." I say.
"Wow you look good when Liam brought you in, you were in really bad shape."
"Oh." I say.
"No I didn't mean it like that it's just you lost a lot of blood." Lucas said.
"Yeah but you still looked amazing." Liam said. Another guy walked in the room.
" Liam?" the guy says.
"Yes Caleb?" Liam says.
"Mentor wants to see Eve as soon as possible." Caleb says.
"Did he say what it's about? Liam asks.
"No he just said he needs to talk to Eve alone." Caleb says.
"Come on Eve I will explain on the way." Liam says.
"Okay." I say, as I get up and follow Liam.
"Liam who's mentor, and why does he want to talk to me alone?" I ask.
"Don't worry, he knows your my mate, he won't hurt you, he's actually the one who patched you up." he says.
"Hey I'll wait right here for you okay." he says.
"But, Liam I'm scared." I say.
"Don't be your tough." he says. I smile at him, and walk into the room.
