Serena's POV:
We've been planning this trip for a while now, ever since we made the life altering decision of attempting to endure what the directors call the International Baccalaureate, otherwise known as the IB diploma. It is typically described as the gateway to hell, and that may be a bit of an exaggeration but there is some truth to those words. The phrase "free time" is of a foreign language to us, and we know a thing or two about foreign languages. Summer is our glimpse at freedom from oppression and stress induced hair loss. But if things go as planned, this summer is going to be the best one yet.
As the last bell to our senior year approached, our focus changed to summer plans. Our only train of thought concerned our nearing adventure to Europe, just the ten of us. It was exhilarating to say the least.
"What day do we leave again? " Kendall asked. She was definitely a sporty girl, endorsing the sport of girls lacrosse and defending it at every chance she got. Her hair was a gorgeous chocolate brown that cascaded down her shoulders. Her eyes were a darker shade of brown but they suited her perfectly. She was strong willed and very opinionated, but that's what made her so amazing...and a tad annoying at times. But you gotta love her.
"You really need to stop forgetting. We leave on June 24th at 7 in the morning." chimed in Olive, flipping her black hair out of her face and focusing her eyes, that were a shade lighter than her hair color, on Kendall with a playfully stern expression. She is really sweet and a total flirt. Her smile can definitely lighten the mood in a room and she is one hell of a good friend.
"I hope you're not wrong Olive. I have a meeting with the Dean of Princeton this weekend and I would appreciate it if I don't have to concern myself with wrong departure times-" ranted Cameron. Being the Sheldon Cooper genius of our group he is concerned more than any of us about college but he is also the most qualified and should be worrying the least. He is tall and pretty well built to be honest, but has a permanent smirk on his face, put there from the stupidity he finds in others. He moved down here from Northern California because he heard all about this prestigious program called IB. Prestigious my ass, it sucks. He is really tan, with brown eyes and usually distressed, light brunette hair that is somewhat messy and somewhat perfect. In my opinion he is pretty cute. I think that him and Ella would look cute together but she wouldn't buy it.
Ella was about average height, around 5'7 and had dirty blonde hair that reached a little below her shoulders. She had big greenish hazel eyes that really complimented her complexion. She was a bit headstrong though and was basically a female version of Cameron. That is why I think they would be so cute together. Plus they are basically always flirting so they just need to admit it. When I brought it up to Ella though she just laughed. According to her, he was a jackass that needed a reality check.
"Relax dude, take it easy, everything is under control." Tanner said a little too unconvincingly. Tanner was the heart of the group in a way. He is more chill than most of the guys and aims to help others. He has the biggest heart but that also allows it to be broken the easiest. He ran his hand over his short dark hair. Like Olive, he had a darker complexion and dark Hershey brown eyes framed by long and thick lashes. I seriously am jealous of his eyelashes. They are longer and thicker than the best fake lashes you can find. Models would probably kill for those lashes.
"I'll make an itinerary for all of you." assured Amelia. She was the sensible one of the group. She always had a smile on her face and honestly was the nicest one in the group. She really cared for everyone and I love that about her. Her eyes and hair shared the same color: dark brown.
"And of course, squeeze a quick Starbucks load up before we board the plane." Olive added.
"Also known as my caffeine drug dealer." Cameron replied.
