I wrote this story a while ago. Maybe 3 or 2 years ago. And I didn't know then what I know now. Suffice to say, I have undergone some serious changes in the past few years.
Going through this book, I realized I have been unfair to a lot of people. I have done a lot of slut shaming in this book of which I am really not proud, especially as most of it was done on a person {Mandy} who I judged unabashedly without getting to know her first and since this was my first impression of her, I was most definitely rude.
However I have noted this as a frequent trend in most wattpad novels these days where there is a girl in every high school who is mean, famous and judged for being blonde or otherwise being overly interested in the opposite sex and is unfairly termed as 'slut'.
To be honest, I am really really ashamed of the slut shaming I did in this book.
But at that time, I really didn't know better.
However, reading this book again made me feel really bad.
I want to tell my story and that of my friends in a way that makes people laugh and relate to it but not at the expense of any other person.
So I have decided to make a few changes.
I will be rewriting the story {using better vocab I hope} and hopefully this time make it worth reading.
To Those who were already reading this story, guys the new and improved version would be way better. Don't fret. It will be up soon.
