Just then the waitress came and interrupted us, she gave me my check.
I smiled at her, knowing I had dismissed her she walked off.
The man took my check, and took out his own wallet. " Oh no, I've got it" I said.
" It's fine, really" he happily stated, with a small grin.
"but I hardly know you, and you've already given me your coat-" I rambled on, once again being interrupted by the waitress grabbing the check.
"Thanks again" I grumbled.
" It's fine I wanted to" he replied.
I looked down at my phone to see the time. It was already seven! " I really need to get going" I stood up.
"I could drive you!" he said very eagerly. Me not wanting to be alone in a car with a man that I don't know, said, "it's ok my trucks just outside"
"oh, ok" he sounded quite disappointed if I might add. " well, could I have your number?" he asked very bluntly.
I nodded, reaching into my pocket and handing him my phone. He typed in his number and a buzzing noise sounded from his pocket. He gave my phone back and I looked at the new contact, it said Harry. So that was his name, it fit him.
He kissed me on the cheek and said lips pressed against my ear, " looking forward to seeing you again, Ella." tingles rushed from my stomach when I felt his warm breath against my neck, spreading out to my fingertips.
I hadn't realized my eyes were closed until they fluttered open, watching him walk away. I was still in shock of what just happened.
