As soon as I stepped outside I remembered that it was raining. Crap now I have to go to school with wet clothes.
I start my truck and back out of my parking spot. It's about a fifteen minute drive to get there, my first class is at eight so I will probably be a few minutes late. I'm never late! How did I let that man, Harry I think he said his name was, distract me?
Mindlessly driving and my thoughts wandering, I pull into the campus parking lot. It was not to big but average sized. It was a cool gray color outside. The rain slowed so it was just lightly sprinkling.
It was eight 'o five. I will have to walk in and interrupt the professor. Way to start the year off right. Good thing I studied even during the time that I was..... Not in school.
Felix always messes with me for being too uptight. I'm just organized is all. Some people don't appreciate that quality in a person.
I reach the double doors at the front of the building. Then suddenly the nerves and anxiety came in a big wave. Oh god not this again, what if they think I look homeless, I look down at my wet jeans and sweat shirt. My hair is a rats nest and I am wearing toms.
I make an excellent first impression don't I. I grab the handle and pull the door open. Stepping inside it was really quiet. There were a few receptionist ladies typing away on their computers.
It looked like an average office, a sitting area a few desks and a door to the right that must lead to the classes.
One older looking lady looks up and stares at me. Slowly scanning me up and down analyzing what I could possibly need.
"Excuse me?" I ask the lady as I walk up to her.
"Yes, miss?" She asks as if she is annoyed with me, what have I done to her!?
"Umm, were is the classroom 233?"
"It's down the hall" as she gestures to the sort to the right, "up those stairs directly to your right and and then make a left, should be the third door down."
"Thanks" I softly say before she goes back to her noisy typing.
I do as she said look for the third door,"233, 233, 233" I murmur to myself.
When I reach the door I peak inside through the window, an sure enough the session has already begun. I open the doer a quietly as possible, but the it squeaks fairly loudly.
All the heads turn to look at me. I feel my cheeks heat up and I look down and slide into the closest seat.
"So forty years ago the author......." I slowly zone out already knowing about the author he is teaching about.
The professor rambling, about fifteen minutes into class I feel a steady vibration from my pocket.
Now, alert I look down and see its a text from Harry. It read
Hey love, how does dinner sound? XOXO -Harry
I look up to see if anyone noticed and then back down at the screen again.i reply
Sure :) but you don't know we're I live....? -Ella
I press send. After a few minutes I feel myself start to squirm and keep thinking I'm feeling a vibration.
Just then I felt and real vibration this time.
Just meet me at the coffee shoppe at 7? XOXO -Harry
Ok looking forward to it :) -Ella
I find myself absent minded going through the rest of my classes during the day. I could wait to see him again. I don't even know why, I barley know him. He seems so kind though. And I could use another friend, since I only have Felix in my life and I get lonely.
It can't be more than that though, I hope he agrees. I don't think I could ever be in a relationship with anyone ever again, since I found out that love will always ruin you, forever haunt you, and will never exist.
Hiiiiiiii guyyyyyyyyssssss
Ok so I'm going to start updating the story more often. Maybe every other day I'm not really sure. But when I decide then ill let you guys know.
