The musty air of the basement was an assault on the senses. I come here often but I still have yet to get used to the dust. "Ah..ah..CHOO!" I sneezed loud enough for the spiders in the cobwebs scatter and caused the cockroaches to scurry away, frightened. "Sorry little guys," I said apologetically. I find spiders and cockroaches so adorable. I'm a person who loves every single creature in the known universe, even if I don't want to get close to all of them, like the Terran anaconda or Inoren venom chimaera. Amber is also an animal lover and so is Lissy. In fact, our whole family is, on both mine and Amber's side and Lissy's side (even though she isn't technically family yet). I walked over to the fourth bookshelf to the right and took out the book titled "Rare Kodra Aura Energies". I opened to page 235 where I ended off last week.

Pain Aura
This rare aura energy involves manipulating the physical pain using nerves, but also assaulting the heart with emotional pain and even torturing the mind. One of the deadliest Kodra abilities ever to surface.

The chapter continues to elaborate much further and in far more detail on how it works and historical figures who have had the ability, such as Kalem Mostkol, general of the 2nd Division of the Chaos Empire in the First Cluster War.

Bone Aura
An ability shared by both the Ordra and Kodra classes, the Aura Wielder can use their bones as weapons, change their bone structure as they please and almost instantaneously regrow bones. They also can affect the bones of their foes as well as use copies of their own skeleton to fight as foot soldiers. The Wielder controls all these skeletal warriors simultaneously.

Dangerous stuff, but they have a weak point. If your timing is perfect, you can seize the moment to strike a critical hit before they regrow their bones.

Hollow Aura
The user can interchange between tangible and intangible at will. They have wraith-like movements and are only susceptible to special types of silver (such as Rydren Silver and Thorn Silver) when in hollow form. A common tactic is to turn hollow and place a part of their body while hollow within their opponent's body and with a sudden movement become tangible and inflict fatal damage such as destroying the heart, instantaneously slaying their foe. This aura is closely related to the Wraith Aura.

That sounds mind-bogglingly powerful and dangerous. I looked over the full list of silvers that can affect these Hollow users and they are all extremely rare. Hope I won't have to face one of those in my lifetime. And then I saw a name in the list of notably figures. Immi Erona. Erona. This is a name that haunts me. A part of my childhood is blocked from memory. Roughly 8 months of blank void. Except for one face and one name. Korto Erona. I have no idea why it haunts me so much, but it fills me with dread. Peron and Erona are two clans, each of Ordrae and Kodrae respectively, which were constantly clashing. That's the only other thing I know about Erona except for the name. Korto. Why do I remember that name from the time that is a void in my memory? I shut the book quickly and decided to search for a book containing anything about the Erona. Sadly I was unable to find anything.

Next minute, I hear a scream from upstairs.
