Annoying Beta

My name is Amanda Williams and I am an Alpha's daughter, my dad is always in his study working on pack issues and papers. It gets kind of lonely sometimes because my mom died and my dad is very lonely and sad all the time. He hasn't been around much and doesn't really help to take care of my brother and sister. I do all the work and if I don't then I won't hear the end of it from my dad.

The bell rings, breaking me out of my thoughts, I walk into the school going into the office to get my late slip.

"Can I get a late slip?" I asked the secretary.

"Oh you're not late yet, you have five more minutes to get to class." I nod mumbling my thanks and go to my locker.

Ugh sadly I can never get a break:

Brianna is at my locker with her flock of girls and she looks like she has a bone to pick with me. Haha I just made myself laugh.

"Look at what we have here girls, the pathetic daughter of the Alpha is coming to school almost late. What should we do about that?" I looked at Brianna and got in her face.

"You're not going to do anything because I'm soon to be Alpha and you're not going to be my beta unless you somehow become my best friend and someone I can trust and if you aren't then I'm sure my dad would have no problem telling your parents how you can't fill the Beta role. Then we'll see whose the real pathetic one, you keep forgetting where your place is and I have no problem fixing that for you." Brianna huffed and walked away with her group of humans and I got my stuff from my locker and went to my first class right before the bell rang for the second time.

"Miss Williams I suggest next time you come a little earlier to my class just so you don't have to rush yourself." Mrs. Gauthier kindly said. Oh Moon Goddess I love this teacher so much!

"I'll be earlier for tomorrow." Making a mental note to get up a little earlier tomorrow so I don't have to worry about Brianna making me late.
