Chapter One
You could say that I've gathered thousands of girls jealousy and envy, but I'd say that all I am is a girl who likes a boy, who likes another girl, who is much better than I am.
It all started at the end of school. I had exchanged from Australia to the UK to complete my last year of school; my parents decided that it would be best for us to just ditch everything we had and seclude ourselves from everyone we had ever loved to go to a country we barely knew. You can tell that I wasn't the happiest. I had to leave my closest friends to a place where I had none, and let me tell you that it didn't help me in the way of feeling the best.
Waiting at the airport terminal, watching bags go past I just imagined what I would make my life. I had a chance for a clean slate, even though I'd much perfer the dirty one with all the memories and all the love and support.
Noticing my suitcase coming out on the conveyer belt, I made my way to collect it. I was weaving through people avoiding faces as I'm used to people being overly-talkative and bubbly and wanting to chat to every single bloody person they come across. I'm not the talkative type; I'm the 'stick your headphones in your ears and play music nonstop' type. Not thinking about where I was going, my foot became stuck in camera cords that were thrown on the floor beside someone and my body came hurling towards the ground. Luckily, I braced and put my hands before me to soften my fall.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" someone cried out with a strong british accent, agh - that's one thing I could get used to. I picked myself up off the ground and straightened my skater-style skirt out. "No worries, love" I responded, going over to pick up my bag off the conveyer belt, and instead of just walking off I simply walked back and added "I usually trip over my own feet or simply nothing so it's nice to blame it on something for a change" and smiled and walked off whisping my dark brown hair with blonde ends around my shoulders.
Little did I actually know that I had met the one and only Alfie Deyes.
Oh and little did I know that this was also not the end of our story.
