Annabeth's POV:
I made my way to my first period, Health class. I sat down, exactly two minutes before the bell. I straightened my clothes, my posture, my books, and my chair. I was studying any extra material that I might need, and then the bell rang.
Perfect. Just on time.
Then Percy rushed in. His face was genuinely worried, and he looked cute when he was worried.
"You're TAAAAAAR-DYYYY!" Some stupid boy from the back of the class shouted.
"Too bad!" Percy yelled back. Then he sat next to me.
"Hey, Wise Girl." Percy said as he smiled at me.
"Hey Seaweed Brain." I replied, beaming.
"Hello, class!" My health teacher exclaimed.
"Hello!" Most of the class replied.
"So, I will be your new health teacher for the year! My name is Mrs. Dodds."
"Hi Mrs. Dodds." I replied.
"Hello, dear. She glared at me. She had these evil-looking eyes...
I tried to signal Percy with my eyes, but it seemed like he already knew what I was thinking. He was staring at her with complete and utter disgrace.
Mrs. Dodds stared at the two of us. Then, we heard the intercom.
"I need Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase to the gym, please. Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase to the gym."
Okay. This is weird.
"Oh, let me walk you two to the gym." She smirked.
Percy took my hand and squeezed it.
"Let's be careful..." He hinted.
We got up and started to go to the gymnasium.
When we got there, Mrs. Dodds changed into her ugly form.
Her clothes started tearing as she got bigger. Her hands started to grow big, shiny brown claws. Fangs started to come out of her mouth. And worst of all, big, black, devilish-looking wings started to sprout out of her back.
She smiled at us one last time and said, "Nice seeing you again, Perseus. Now, it's time to DIE!"
Percy and I stood back to back just like we had mastered at Camp Half-Blood. I Pulled out my dagger I had always had hidden in my pant leg. Percy pulled out Riptide. We were ready.
Mrs. Dodds lunged. We ducked from her and then she lunged again. This time lower. Percy jabbed at her and poked her eye by accident.
"βλάκας!" She cursed. Then she ran after Percy.
A good portion of the battle was the fury cashing Percy around the gym.
Then, Percy stabbed get in the heart and she let out an glass shattering scream.
The creature disintegrated into thin air.
"Well, I think we need a new Health teacher..."

We went to the office and complained that Ms. Dodds had disappeared. They called for a sub and we took her down to our Health room when she arrived.
"Hello class. Apparently, there has been a mishap with Ms. Dodds..." She glared at us. "I was relaxing at home with my TV." She muttered. "But anyways, welcome to the Health room! Today, we will be learning about nursing a child. You will each be partnered up with someone to take care of your fake, robotic child. So, I will start listing the pairs. Mike and Shelly, Tim and Chloe, Jim and Elena, Percy and Annabeth..."
"Yes!" I thought.
Percy squeezed my hand and smiled.
"Let's raise this smile together."
