I was sitting opposite my best friend in Westfield (Stratford) as we had finished shopping for the day. So we decided to get something to eat from Mc Ds. As I yamed down my large chips and double cheeseburger my friend gave me a disgusted look.
"Rahhh Layla, you're eating like you haven't eaten in days!" Chantel said. I laughed, amused at her comment. To tell you the truth I hadn't eaten since 10:00 a.m. and it is nearly 5 in the evening.
"Well I'm hungry, so why can't I fam?" Once that was said Chantel and I burst into a fit of laughter. It was an inside joke between us to sometimes talk like road men.
I know it's moist but it's just how we are. As I finished the rest of my food, Chantel brought up something that shocked me. "So Layla umm... you can't tell anyone bout this okay??""Who would I tell Chantel you know I'm your best friend I won't tell anyone no matter what it is..."I trailed on.
"Me and Tyrone were thinking that it was time to you know have..." She tried to finish off but I interrupted her midsentence.
"You're thinking of having sex, you're not even 16 yet AND you've barely been together for a month." I argued
"First of all can you be quiet I don't want the whole of Westfield to know my business and yes I want to have sex with him...we're in love." Chantel whispered.
That's the thing with Chantel with her good looks any boy would fall at her feet. Chantel was mix raced; she had hazel eyes, perfect curly hair which she dyed a light brown, she was tall but not as tall as me and she had a body to die for, all the right curves in the right places. But now she has decided to settle down with the one guy that I felt was wrong for her. Tyrone was one of those boys you didn't want to mess with and only cares for themself. I have a feeling he is going to break Chantel's heart but if I say anything to her about it she would probably get defensive for him, kmt.
"I just feel that you're not really ready to get into this ummm, but if that's what you want then..."
"Yeah it is what I want." Chantel interrupted with a huge grin that plastered her face.
"Now come on lets go home, I'm getting tired." We gathered our things and walked out towards the train station. Well I haven't really introduced myself properly. As you know I'm Layla Lee Wilson and I'm 16 years old. I have dark brown hair that I have in a nice tight bun, that was my signature hairstyle. My eyes are a casual dark brown and my skin complexion is a light brown. I would say that I am average in height. As we got off the train, and out of the train station we waited literally 10 minutes for the bus until it came. We beeped our oyster cards and headed upstairs to the top deck. As always, Chantel decides to go all the way to the back of the bus were a group of boys were sat and some were stood, WTF!? I'm not gonna lie, a fair amount of them were looking sexy but I always in a way felt insecure when I'm around boys.
"Why do you always choose to sit at the back?" I said quietly so the boys couldn't here. "Your just scared Layla, lol you need to calm down.""I am calm."
"K then..." Chantel's phone started to ring and she answered immediately. Chantel took a seat in front of me, so I sat behind her near the window. Feeling a bit awkward I took my phone out.
"Yo b!" I ignored whoever shouted that and carried on looking through my phone.
"You cool?" Putting my phone into my pocket I looked up to see a cute boy who was probably about my age. He had a really nice smile. His hair was tied up with a bushy bun at the back and he had slits in his eyebrows which I find highly attractive.
I smiled and looked anywhere but his perfect light brown eyes. To make things worst Chantel was still on her phone! She had no clue what was going on and the girl is sitting right in front of me, KMT! Thinking of what to say, I said the first think that came into my mind. "Yeah." I glanced at him and then back out the window kinda embarrassed.
