Chapter 18

"You and Jerome are doing a ting?!" Kahmilla shouted. I had finally picked up the courage to tell her AND Chantel the news.  It seemed like Chantel was getting back to her old self which was great but she still wanted to stay as far away from Tyrone as possible.

"Babe,  I'm so happy for you?" Chantel smiled

"You are?"

"Yeah. We all knew deep down you liked Jerome more and now you're together!" She quickly did a run and jump towards me and we both fell backwards onto my soft bed. We erupted in giggles but Kahmilla had to be extra and jump on us as well.

"Come on Kahmilla get your fat arse off of us!" i shouted still laughing. My phone began to buzz indicating that I had a message. Kahmilla quickly got off me and grabbed my phone.

"Aww. He says he wants to see you." Kahmilla said. Note to self, change password on phone and do not give it to her.

I snatched it away and called him instead.

"Heyy." i greeted with a smile I knew he couldn't see.

"You alright baby?" When he called me that butterflies erupted in my stomach. As i sat down on my bed Kahmilla insisted that I put it on loud speaker but I fully ignored her.

"Yeah I'm good. Just chilling with the girls. How are you?" We haven't seen each other in a week and I'm  missing him already. I swear being in a relationship has changed me.

"I'm calm actually. Just missing you."

"Aww we'll see each other soon Jay." When I said that Chantel shouted out "She keeps going on about how BIG you are!" She and Kahmilla began to snigger trying to hold back the laughter. Seriously why?

"Yeah Little Jay ain't so lil." Chantel pitched in saying it in an American accent. I shook my head at them knowing fully well that they were only messing around but it was still embarrassing on my side of things.

I could hear Jerome laughing also. So it was just me outside of their joke bubble.

"Oh my days! you lot are so embarrassing!" I said mortified

"It's fine layla, I know their just messing about." He paused "But they are right you know." His voice became really seductive and i felt I weird sensation inside me. Wow my boy was on bigger things literally.

"When can we see each other again?" I asked quickly changing the subject.

"Do you want to come to dinner with me?"

"Yeah sure. That would be so sweet." I knew he was asking me on a date. Our first date!

"I can take you up West the rest will be a surprise though and make sure you dress non casual."

"Ordering me, telling me what to wear. Ohhh I love how dominant you are." i joked but spoke in a seductive tone matching his.

"You always know the right things to say." He said playing along.

"Yeah when you see me on the day I'll probably shock you. " In a good way obviously.

"When ever I see you, your always shocking me with your sexiness." He replied "I'll come by on Saturday at like 6:30."

"No black people time!" Kahmilla screamed. Her and Chantel's listening skills were great because they obviously heard what Jerome was saying.

"Nah I won't be late. Mans never late."

"Alright. I'll see you on Saturday then." Two days away my brain was ticking down to the day and hour already.

"Yeah b I'll see you then. Don't get lonely without me."
