Welcome to Leopard's Contests! I am your host, Leopardclaw!
What is this? You ask. Why, it's a contest book for writing contests! *genius face*
Let's get into the specifics!Rules
1. No bullying other people on their entries in the comments, on their profile, or anywhere on the Internet.2. If you enter a book after the contest ends (if you said you would make one and you were already working on it when the contest began), I will list it in the Honorable Mentions in the Results chapter for that contest.
(NOTE: This is only allowed if your book you entered was actually created before the contest was finished with.)
3. No plagiarizing (taking another author's work as your own).
------
Guidelines:1. You may enter ONLY ONE book for each contest. If you accidentally posted the wrong book title, you may notify me in the comments and I will let you delete your previous comment to put the actual book. (Please be honest; I know what the comments say before you delete them.)
2. All genres are allowed, unless the contest says otherwise.
3. If you want to enter a book, please state in the comments which book of yours that you want to enter.
4. I will read all of the entries while the contest is still active (before the end date).
5. If I forget to read yours and I state that the results will be coming soon, and you posted your comment before the later entries, please tell me in a comment on my Message Board; I will read your book and pull it into my decision for deciding the winner.
6. There will be 3 winners.
1st place: a follow (if not already done), votes on your entered book's chapters, a shoutout in my book "The Leopard's Lair" (a randomness thought type book with over 1K reads), and I'll add your book to a reading list called "Leopard's Contest Winners"
2nd place: a follow (if not already done), votes on your entered book, a shoutout in my "The Leopard's Lair" book
3rd place: a follow (if not already done), votes on your entered book
Everyone else will be in the Honorable Mentions with the Results chapter!

Tips:1. Be creative. Don't steal other authors' ideas.
2. Look up name generators on Seventh Sanctum for better names for characters, character descriptions (I like to mix and match these), etc. (I use this website for my original stories such as the Elves series, The Nine Guilds of Azerma, and Metaur (I made up Metaur's name though).
3. Use correct grammar and spelling; if there's a spelling mistake here and there (and it's obviously a typo), I won't count it against you. :)
That's all! Now go and make some stories!
