==> Dave: Attempt to Time Travel to the Past

   After overhearing Terezi's conversation with Rose, you knew that Karkat's death in this timeline was all your fault. You had to fix it. You closed your eyes and began to focus just as you did last time. Except, once you opened your eyes, nothing had changed. Same location, same time. It didn't work. You tried again. And again. You kept trying but nothing was happening. You remained stuck in your current time. Your throat started to dry as you continued to try multiple times. After a while of useless attempts, the reality of the situation sunk in. Karkat was gone and you couldn't do anything about it.

     Your throat was really dry at this point and your eyes became the complete opposite. Tears dripped down your face and you sat gasping for air. You took off your shades and tried to wipe your tears away, but they still flowed. Your eyes stung and your throat burned, but neither could be compared to the pain in your chest. Your heart was beating rapidly and felt as though it was tearing in half. The entire area of your chest felt pressure like something insanely heavy was placed on top of you. Your hands were shaking terribly. You weren't the cool kid everybody knew you as. You were an emotional wreck. Not once in your life have you ever felt like this. Not once have you given up hope. Yet, without Karkat, you felt like there was nothing worth keeping yourself together. And so you sat there alone, sobbing uncontrollably. 

     What was there to do now?
