Blake's POV
The Saturday morning performance came by. I was waiting backstage with Ari. She was in black leggings, black high top wedges, a white dress, and a black leather jacket. "Are you ready to do this?" I asked.
"Ready as I'll ever be," Ari nodded. "Timmy doesn't even know."
"You'll do great," I smiled. "I know you can." Ari looked at me. "I believe in you. Always have, ever since you made the squad, and a week after, I made a promise that I would never ever leave you."
"Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for The Rebel Rockers!!!" the MC exclaimed.
The music started. Ari and I watched from backstage. Antonio was playing his guitar and he started singing. "We got some time to share. The sun is everywhere," Antonio sang as he played his guitar. "Take my hand, let's do it together. Shake it up and dance. Take a, take a chance. It's gonna last forever and ever." Ari was smiling. "We gonna have some fun. We gonna get it done. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh yeah!"
"This song is amazing," I smiled.
"My brother did write it," Ari nodded.
"Don't you get it now? We're gonna show you how," Antonio started singing. "We do it right everyday!" I saw Jayden, Emily, Kevin, and Mike join the audience. "All we wanna have is fun, fun, fun. Fun anyway! So just come and join us one by one." Jayden, Emily, and Kevin sat down. Mike stayed on his feet and kept dancing. I smiled because he was funny. "Show what you know-oh. Yeah, yeah. Know-oh. Yeah, yeah. Know-oh. We can let this moment last. Know-oh. Yeah, yeah. Know-oh. Yeah, yeah. Know-oh. Let's just make this party last."
"I'm getting nervous," Ari spoke up.
"Lose yourself in the music," I smiled. "You got this."
"Now we're breaking free. Everyone can see," Antonio sang. I could tell those words made Ari confident. "It's our time. We're grooving together. Shop until we drop. No, we never stopped. Summer fun! We're having a party." Ari sighed. "All we want is the best. Don't need any regrets. Oh no. No, no, no, no, no. Being with my friends means the world to me."
"Here I go," Ari smiled as she put on her mask.
"Let's do it right..."
"Everyday," Ari sang with Antonio. She walked out on stage. I saw the rest of the rangers cheering.
The last chords were played. I saw Mike having Kevin in a headlock and I just laughed. "That's funny," I nodded. They cleared the stage. Ari walked up to me. "You did it, Ari!"
"Mia, Antonio," Jayden replied as he got backstage to greet us with Emily, Mike, and Kevin. I took off my mask. "You guys did amazing."
"Yeah, look at you popstars," Emily smiled as she hugged Ari and Antonio.
"It was an incredible experience but can't beat fishing," Antonio smiled.
"Yeah, I wouldn't trade saving the world for anything," Ari smiled. "Except Timmy could've told me his band's earnings was for charity."
"You could've asked," Timmy nodded.
"Sorry," Ari replied. "Anyways, why don't you guys go out and enjoy the rest of the show? I'll join you after I change."
"Alright," Mike smiled.
"Thank you," I nodded. Mike, Antonio, Timmy, Emily, Jayden, and Kevin left. BB and Drew joined us. "Alright guys." Ari went to go change. "Our song is Payphone by Maroon 5 and it's the one Ari wrote the remix for."
"Are we singing it in four or five part?" Ari asked as she joined us.
"Wow," I replied, seeing what she was wearing. "You look amazing."BB's POV
"Ari, you look amazing," I smiled. She was in a royal blue/black galaxy dress, a black leather jacket, and black high heel ankle boots. "Definitely gives a while new edge to you."
"Hey, us Dream Chasers need a little edge," Ari smiled as she grabbed a microphone. "So four or five part harmony?"
"Four since our five decided to leave us," I nodded. "Let's just put it that way."
"Didn't think you guys were going to sing without me, did you?" Adam asked.
"Adam," Ari said as she hugged him. "Let's go."
"Let's give it up for the last performance of the evening, Dream Chasers!" the MC stated.
We all walked out onstage. The music started. Drew started, "I'm at a payphone trying to..."
"Call home," we sang with Drew, "all of my change I spent on you."
"Where have the times gone," Drew sang. "Baby, it's..."
"...all wrong," we sang with Drew. "Where are the plans we made for two?"
"Yeah," I harmonized.
"I know it's hard to remember the people we used to be. It's even harder to picture, that you're not here next to me," Blake sang as he smiled at Ari and pointed at her. "You say it's too late to make it, but is it too late to try? And in our time that you wasted all of our bridges burned down."
"I've wasted my nights. You turned out the lights," Ari sang with Blake. "Now, I'm paralyzed, still stuck in that time when we called it love." Blake held Ari's hand. "But even the sun sets in paradise."
"I'm at a payphone trying to call home, all of my change I spent on you," we sang. "Where have the times gone? Baby, it's all wrong. Where are the plans we made for two?" Drew hugged me front behind. "If Happy Ever After did exist, I would still be holding you like this. All those fairy tales are full of it. One more stupid love song, I'll be sick."
"You turned your back on tomorrow 'cause you forgot yesterday. I gave you my love to borrow, but you just gave it away," I sang. "You can't expect me to be fine, I don't expect you to care. I know I've said it before but all of our bridges burned down."
"I've wasted my nights. You turned out the lights. Now, I'm paralyzed, still stuck in that time when we called it love," Blake sang with Ari again. "But even the sun sets in paradise."
"I'm at a payphone trying to call home, all of my change I spent on you," we sang. "Where have the times gone? Baby, it's all wrong. Where are the plans we made for two? If Happy Ever After did exist, I would still be holding you like this." Adam smiled at Ari. "All those fairy tales are full of it. One more stupid love song, I'll be sick."
"I'm at a payphone, baby, trying to call you for hours lately," Adam started.
"I'm at a payphone, baby, trying to call you for hours lately," Ari repeated.
"I'm at a payphone, baby, trying to call you for hours lately," Adam and Ari sang together. "I'm at a payphone, baby, trying to call you for hours lately."
"I'm at a payphone, baby, trying to call you for hours lately," the rest of us joined Adam and Ari. "I'm at a payphone, baby, trying to call you for hours lately. I'm at a payphone, baby, trying to call you for hours lately."
Ari pointed at me. "I'm at a payphone, baby!" I held the note.
"I'm at a payphone trying to call home, all of my change I spent on you," we sang.
"All I did spend on you," Blake harmonized.
"Where have the times gone? Baby, it's all wrong. Where are the plans we made for two?" we sang. "If Happy Ever After did exist, I would still be holding you like this. All those fairy tales are full of it. One more stupid love song, I'll be sick."
"I'm at a payphone, baby," Adam and Ari ended as he put his arm around her.
The crowd cheered and we disappeared backstage. "I love our harmonies," I smiled. "We blended so well."
