A loud crash thundered through the store as Niall awkwardly laid in a pile of teddy bears that he accidentally knocked off a shelf; taking the shelf down with him. "Leprechaun down!" He yelled from the back of the shop. I giggled as I reached my hand out for him to grab. He took it and shot to his feet. "Come on Nialler, let's hurry before anyone notices." I say as we rush out of the store, chuckling the whole way. Liam followed behind with my hand in his. "We can't take you anywhere." Liam says as he pulls Niall into a hug and messing up his hair. "But they were little teddy bears! And they were holding clovers and had little green hats!" Niall said as he squirmed in Liam's arms. "You have like ten of those." I said with a laugh. Niall blushed as he poked my nose. "Yes but I don't have THAT one."
We went from store to store, each of us causing mayhem in our own little ways. "Oh my gosh! I LOVE this! It's perfect." I said, holding up a light pink lacey dress. "It'd look even more perfect on you." Liam said as he leaned down and kissed my forehead. Niall made loud 'aww' noises from behind Liam, making us laugh.
Niall and I waited outside the bathroom for Liam. We walked over to a bench across from the bathroom, it was somewhat far away and I hoped Liam would see us. Niall and I made small talk but we didn't have to say much, best friends don't always have to talk. I saw his head stick out the door then he walked out. I smiled and rose to my feet. He looked around for us in confusion. I was about to call his name when a mob of screaming young girls surrounded him like they were about to sacrifice him. Niall chuckled, "That was bound to happen sooner or later." I smiled and started towards Liam and his fans, Niall close behind. I stopped dead in my tracks. One girl, with the face and body of a supermodel, laced her arms around Liam's neck and pulled his head forward and planted a kiss on his lips. The most unnerving part of it was that Liam didn't pull away. I want to cry. I wanted to run away and hide in a place where I couldn't be found. The person I loved and trusted my life and soul with was making out with a different girl in front of me.
Niall rested a hand on my shoulder and I looked up into his eyes. "Don't cry, Taylor" He whispered. I pushed myself into his arms as he rocked us back and forth. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and led us out of the mall; I kept my head down as we walked.
"We're just gonna leave him here, stranded?" I asked, feeling somewhat guilty that we were going to ditch him. "After what he did, it's what he deserves." Niall replied as he pulled the car out of the parking lot. It was a quiet ride home. Niall held my hand in his to show he cared for me when it seemed like not many people did.
