Chapter 9

Ashley's POV

I woke up to my phone ringing.
It was my mom. I looked to my parents bed, neither of them were there.
"What" I said.
"You two need to come eat breakfast. We checkout in and hour."
"Ok bye" I said and laid back down.
"Who was it?" Rocky asked rubbing my back.
"Mom. They're in the lobby eating breakfast" I said and rolled over to face him.
"Should we go eat?"
I nodded and snuggled closer to him.
He chuckled.
"I'm going just give me a minute." I smiled.
He stroked my hair.
"You're so chill" he laughed.
"Is that your word or something?" I laughed.
I don't know maybe" he laughed.
I rolled out of bed and put my hair in a bun. Rocky got up and put his shirt on.
"Will you carry me?" I asked.
He rolled his eyes and laughed. "Get on" he said and bent down so I could get on his back.
"Thanks boo" I laughed and kissed his cheek.
He got on the elevator with me still in his back.
We pressed the button to go down then entered the lobby.
We saw my parents sitting at a table, we greeted them and then went to fix our plates. We each made a waffle and got some bacon.
We say down next to my parents and started a conversation.

We finally made it home. I quickly got out of the car and went to the couch. "Home Sweet Home" I smiled.
"We were gone for two days" dad said as he sat on my legs.
I shrugged my shoulders and turned on the TV.
Mom sat down in the recliner and Rocky came up behind the couch and looked down at me.
I smiled. He chuckled and poked my nose.
"I better get home. Thanks for letting me tag along this weekend." He smiled.
"No problem sweetie" mom said.
I wiggled my way out from under my dad and followed Rocky to the door and on to the porch.
"Have fun starting your junior year tomorrow!" He smiled.
"Thank you. I'll see you tomorrow afternoon?"
"Yep and I wanted to talk to you about confirming our relationship."
"What is there to confirm? You're my boyfriend and I'm you're girlfriend" I said.
"I know that. Let's tell our families. I mean Jeb, Courtney, Vanni, Rydel, and probably Riker already know so..."
"Okay! Tomorrow night we can tell your family. And I can just tell mine, unless you want to be here but it's only mom and dad" I said.
"Sounds good!"
"Okay, see you tomorrow!" I smiled.
"See you tomorrow, princess." He kissed my cheek and walked away.
