Chapter 13

Rocky's pov

"Rocky, come down here" dad called from the kitchen. I ran out my room and down my stairs to see Mom, Dad, and Riker all sitting at the table.

"What'd I do?" I asked suspiciously.

"Nothing, you didn't do anything wrong. We just wanted to talk about you and Ashley." Mom said.

"Oh gosh" I sighed and sat down.

"We just wanted to make sure you realize that if you two aren't careful you can be arrested." Dad said.

"Dad she's 15 I would never have sex with her" I quickly answered.

"Well I'm just saying you're a boy and I know what boys are like and how they think. I don't want you to get arrested or get her pregnant for sure." He said.

"I just want you all to know this, someday down the road I will have kids with Ashley. I know she's only 15 right now but I feel like she is the one and when the time is right it'll happen and y'all won't know when we do it or where we do it because my sex life isn't your business " I smiled and walked out.

"Rocky?" Mom said stopping me.

I turned around and mom hugged me.

"Now that's how you treat a lady" she kissed my cheek and went on about her day.

I continued walking out the front door and too Ashley's house.

Ashley's pov

"MOM PLEASE" I cried.

"I'm sorry baby there is no way me or your dad can come. We've already talked to stormie and she said Rocky would love to take you"

"What the crap this isn't a date. I'm having my wisdom teeth out and it's gonna hurt and I'm gonna die and you aren't gonna be there to help me"

I've been terrified of the dentist my whole life. Just the word gives me chills. The day has come that I must get my wisdom teeth out and sadly my parents can't take me.

*knock knock*

I ran to my room and locked my door. Mom answered the front door.

"Hey Rocky, Ashley's upstairs. I think she's a little nervous" mom chuckled to Rocky.

"I've been in her shoes before. I understand what she's feeling" Rocky said. I heard someone walking up the stairs. Then there was knock at my door.

"Yes?" I said through the few tears.

"Ash? It's Rocky. Open the door please"

"No"

"Please?"

"No"

"Ash, open the door" he said strictly which scared me a bit. I quickly ran to the door and opened it.

"Aww, babe" Rocky said engulfing me in a hug.

"I don't wanna go" I sobbed.

"You'll be fine and I'll be there to help you. You don't have to worry about anything." He smiled wiping my tears.

"Promise?"

"I promise" he kissed my cheek and grabbed my hand and pulled me down the stairs.

I told my mom bye before getting in the car still crying my eyes out.
"Maybe we will be in a car wreck and I won't have to go" I said hopeful

"Ashley" Rocky chuckled and rolled his eyes.

This was gonna be the worst day of my life.
