Chapter 12

Ashley's pov

Considering it's Saturday I slept till about 11:00. Once I woke up I went downstairs to get some cereal. As I walked down the stairs I heard familiar voices talking; Rocky and Jeb.

I smiled to myself and walked into the living room. "Hey Ash!" Rocky smiled standing up to hug me.

"Hey!!"

I said hey to Jeb then continued on into the kitchen with Rocky behind me.

"What're you doing here?" I asked.

"I didn't have any food at home so I came to see what you had" he said.

"We have cereal?" I laughed handing it to him.

"I'm kidding I came to see you" he kissed my cheek.

I smiled.

"And I came to ask if you wanted to go to the gym with me? I don't like going alone and none of my brothers can come" he chuckled.

"Sure!! Sounds fun" I smiled sitting at the bar with my cereal.

"Okay!! Whenever you finish will go" he smiled.

I finished eating and went upstairs to get ready. I put in a sports bra and some nike shorts.

"Okay, let's go!!" I smiled hopping down the stairs.

"Great! See ya later Jeb" Rocky said grabbing my hand.

"Later" Jeb said not taking his eyes off the tv

We walked out the door and began our walk to the gym.

"Rocky?"

"Yeah ash?"

"You make me happy" I smiled.

"Ashley, there's something I've been wanting to tell you" he turned to me and grabbed both my hands.

"What is it?" I smiled.

"I love you"

My heart dropped.

"I love you too, Rocky" I smiled.

He chuckled and smiled his beautiful smile.

"I've been waiting for this moment" he smiled as he kissed me.

I couldn't say anything. All I could do Was smile. I nodded against his chest.

We continued our walk hand in hand.

"The gyms that way" I said confused.

"I know. I lied. We aren't going to the gym."

"Then where are we going?" I chuckled.

He shrugged. "I don't know"

"Umm okay?"

We ended up sitting on a park bench for the next hour talking, laughing, loving life together.
