Lucys POV
I walked down the street to notice it was particularly quiet. I started walking down into town to see no one was outside. I entered every store but again, no one was to be found. "Hm? Natsu! Mira! Lisanna! Levy!" i yelled but there was no response. I checked the guild but saw it was empty. I was so confused until i passed the wedding store. I stared at the window to see a huge picture of Natsu smiling posted on the window. The dress that used to be on display was gone. I entered the store and saw a note."Follow the yellow brick road and put the dress on" i said. I then noticed there was a yellow "road".
I followed it to my apartment and saw the dress on my bed. I quickly put it on and saw another note. I grabbed it and opened it."meet at Fairy Hills to do your hair and make-up" i read. I sighed and put my heels on before running out. I finally arrived at Fairy Hills before someone grabs me and pulls me inside. I was then put in a chair but saw no one as they curled my hair and did my make-up.
"Am i going crazy?!" i thought. They then finished and handed me a note as they shoved me back out. "Now go to the cake shop" i rolled my eyes and ran to the cake shop. Again i saw no one except four items with notes attached. The first was Grays necklace which said,'something borrowed'. The second one was a bracelet with flames as a pendant. 'Something new'. The third was a blue ribbon. 'Something blue'. The last was then the letter my father gave me before he died. 'something old'.
Another note was seen and i picked it up. "Your mission is complete now meet me at the church" i read. I didn't know why i was even following these instructions. I finally arrived to the church and opened the doors revealing everyone from town a dressed up and staring at me. Erza, Jellal, Gray, Juvia, Levy and Gajeel stood up front beside the podium. Then at the very front stood Natsu smiling. "This whole thing was....our wedding" i wanted to cry but i held them in as i walked to the front.
I stopped in front of Natsu who smiled."ladies and gentlemen. We are gathered here today to celebrate the marriage of Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia" the priest began."Now for the vows" he said and we turned to receive cards from Levy and Gray. They must have did everything for me. "Lucy...even though i surprised you and what you will say aren't your words i know they are what you would say because that's the type of person you are....i fell in love with you the moment i saw you when you got kidnapped by Bora....
You are beautiful, smart, strong, brave and so many other good things. I want to spend my life with you. I want to thank you for always standing beside me even at the toughest times..i love you" he spoke. I then started reading from my card and tears fell from my eyes. "Natsu...i know that you love me despite all my f-flaws...and im glad i met you. You gave me everything...hope, a home and friends...but you also stole something from me.....you stole my heart and I trust you to protect it with everything you have....im proud to call you mine and im glad i fell for you...i love you" i said.
"The rings" The priest said next. Romeo and Wendy then walked up and handed us the ring. "Repeat after me" the priest said and even though he was speaking i felt the whole world get silent and me and Natsu were the only ones here. (N-Natsu L-Lucy)
N-"With this ring i take you...
L-"to be my husband and protector"
N-"my support and guide...
L-" to have and to hold...
N-"in sickness and in health..
L+N-"to love and protect...with all my heart..." we trailed off.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife" the priest finished. We kissed making everyone cheer. "I love you princess" he smiled. "I love you too...my little dragon"
Memory
A little Natsu is kneeling down to Lucy like a knight while a little Lucy stands looking down at him smiling."im counting on you my dragon" she said."anything for you princess" he replied.
