Chapter 3

" Alex you listen to me right here right now alright?" He said in his scary Dad voice
" alright" I replied trying to not piss myself from this damn terrifying tension
" Do you understand how much the future of this company is riding on this dinner? Probably not so let me explain this slowly DO NOT MESS THIS UP" he whisper yelled at me,as my multicolored irises widened.
" you will be severe deep shit if you say or do anything to mess this up got it?" He said again with venom everywhere in his sentence so much it's practically burning holes in my shirt and face.
" understood" I whispered
" good good!" The mood lightened up a bit as he said that
" let's go inside now Dria" Mom is my new favorite. Hell she always was.

We entered the dining hall and sat down.
Of course everybody left the only seat open next to Levi at the middle of the right side of the table, so I sat next to Levi awkwardly.
" let's get dinner started shall we?!" Levi's grandfather yelled deeply throughout the room
" no no no wait a minute honey, I would like to see something first." An old frail woman requested who I assumed to be Levi's grandmother.
" what would you like, dear?" He replied. I love old people so much like how cute are they when they say something loving to the other? I loose my shit all the time it's just so cute. In the midst of my fangirling I didn't hear her request apparently no one else did either so she repeated it louder.
" I would like to see my grandson and his new fiancé hold hands for a sweet little picture for my keepings." She said sweetly. I mean you'd have to be satin to not agree to this request. Come on it's an old little lady.
She swiftly brought out a camera form under the table. Where.the.hell.nevermind.
"I'm sorry dear but I have just been itching to see the lucky young lady, and you sure are a pretty one, I must say, one of the prettiest I've ever seen, your eyes oh my! They are absolutely beautiful the emerald green and then the warm honey auburn. I love them so much ." She said as I blushed and looked down, I'm not that pretty, am I? She had almost clear milky blue eyes a sign of old age, but they were still beautiful.
" no I can't be that pretty," I replied almost instantly with my head still facing the table
" oh my dear yes you are now go on to the front for the picture, please." She slowly stood up and walked over to the front of the dining hall. In front of her was a huge wall with pink and white flowers growing in with the green leaves. And she gestured to stand there so Levi stood up and took my hand awkwardly walking over to the flower wall.
" alright now hold hands and smile, look cute together please, for me?" I guess even Levi can buckle under pressure as his hand slowly made its way over to my right hand and he laced our fingers together and I smiled the prettiest smile I could muster up, I really didn't want to disappoint this old woman. I guess Levi cracked a smile as I heard the lady giggle as a flash emits into the large room partially blinding Levi and I.
I slowly cracked open my eyes and saw that Eren had the dumbest smirk ever, I wanted to slap him so hard.
The lady followed my cold stare towards Eren and she gasped.
" oh my you two are twins and his eyes, they have opposites! How cute!" I followed her startled gaze towards Mom and Dad
" they have their eyes too! The mothers honey auburn and the fathers emerald green!" She squealed with joy as Levi slowly wakes her towards her chair and I walked towards mine and sat down, apparently dinner had already came out and was currently sitting on all our plates still steaming hot. We were eating a lot of fancy food with steak as the main course. I don't really like steak but I shut up and gulped it down in fear of Dad throwing a hissy fit. While we were eating we started introductions starting with Levi's grandma.
" I am Levi's grandmother Eve" she said with a kind look on her face next to her was his grandpa.
" I'm Levi's grandfather Francis " he said afterwards stuffing his fat face with steak. Next to him was a man.
" I'm Levi's father Marcus" he greeted slowly he had a nice mustache. Next to him was a fair raven woman.
" I am Levi's mother Carmen" she said sweetly
" I'm Levi Alex's fiancé if you haven't figured that out yet ." Levi said sarcastically. Oh god I'm up next.
" I'm Alex Levi's fiancé I guess" I said slowly next was Eren thank god.
" I'm Alex's older twin brother." He just had to add in that he was older right? Next was Mom
" I am Alex's Mother Carla" she said smiling sweetly like always. Next was Dad.
" I am Alexandria's father Grisha." He said correcting everyone else for calling me by my short name instead of the birth name. He's such a stuck up ass. Thank god introductions are over. Now we know who everyone actually is dinner went smoothly until the end during dessert time.
" Alexandria you will be staying with the Ackerman family for about three weeks to give us an example of what this marriage would be like, after dessert Levi will give you the ring to put on and we will be announcing it to the public tomorrow." He said sternly
" bu-" I didn't get to finish my sentence before he gave me the look, and I looked down at the table in defeat I heard Levi mutter something about being obedient under his breath.
Judging by the calm looks on everyone's faces I was the only one who didn't know about this, hell I was shocked Mom didn't even object for me or Eren didn't have anything to be angrily ranting about. The rest of dessert was eaten in silence. Until the waiters started cleaning up and Levi pulled out the engagement ring and held his palm open for my hand. I slowly put my left palm on top of his as he slid the cold silver band of the diamond ring over my ring finger, I looked down at Levi's hand to see a matching silver band without a diamond on his ring finger. This is going to fast for me.
" Dad I'm going to go get my bags from the car." I slowly walked toward the entrance of the mansion. I heard Levi following but decided not to say anything until we got outside where we could argue loudly like I knew we would, his whole kind and sweet figure was just an act for his family and mine, and I sure as hell knew he wasn't always this kind. Hell no one was.
