After breakfast Jake left for school. Now it was finally just Jax and I. Jax was washing the dishes, which I told him wasn't necessary, but he didn't mind. While Jax washed the dishes I tried to help myself with last nights Algebra homework. As soon as I took one look at my homework I sighed. "Let f(x) = √(x - 4) + 3.  a) Find the inverse of f.  b) Find the range of f -1."  I was having a hard time with Algebra, but if I wanted Jake to do well in school, then I somehow have to set that example for him. Okay if a is the inverse of f, then the answer is a.  f-1(x)= (x-3)3+4, x>3. And if b is the range of f, then the answer is b.  [4, +infinity) : it is the domain of f. Just as I was finishing, I looked up to meet Jax gaze with his beautiful hazel- brown eyes tinted with auburn. We both smiled at each other at the same time.

Jax finished washing his last dish, dried it and his hands, and walked over to me giving me one last kiss before we left for school. We both hate riding the public buses to school, so we drive to school in my dad's old Chrysler (which is now mine). It's a pretty descent car, plus I just got a beautiful new black paint job on it. As we got in the car and sat down, Jax instantly reached over to grab my thigh. It sent that tingly feeling throughout my leg. He always knew what to do without me hinting him. "You play too much baby," I said. He just smiled keeping his hands right there, as a way of telling me no matter what he'll never let go of me. Knowing he wouldn't move his hand, I went ahead putting the key in the ignition. I soon as I was off our street, and onto the main road; I connected my phone to the car to play my Spotify playlist. Scared Money started playing -- My girl is Spanish all she eat is that fajita shit, got a new bitch every three months I'm on some seasons shit. I turned up the volume til I could feel the music throughout my car.

Coming to a stop, the breeze fading away as I parked my car in a student lot space. We got out, I made sure to roll up the windows, discard the volume taking my phone with me, and lock the doors. I locked my fingers with Jax's fingers as we headed toward WHS (Westwood High School). As we walked inside, I saw my best friend Ebony, she was standing in a crowd of people in the main entrance of the school. What was everyone crowding I thought. I walked into the crowd over to Ebony making sure Jax was right behind me. "EBONY! WHY'S EVERYONE CROWDED HERE?!" I asked. It was so loud I could barely hear myself. *buzzz buzzz* Of course, Ebony being the smarter person decided to text me instead. I opened it; Ya-ya everyone's trying to sign up for school activities, and personally I'm going for b ball. I was happy to hear those words from Ebony. She's such a great player, and she really loves basketball, it's like that one thing you can't ever take away from her. Ebony literally waited her whole life for the sign up sheets, and now being in high school she could sign up. On the other hand I was far from active. Last time I remember being physically active was last years gym class running the mile. My grade came up to a  C- because I ran for twenty and forty-two seconds. That's awesome Ebony, I'm happy your happy; I texted back.

I signaled to Ebony that I was going to walk with Jax to my classes. She nodded in response. Before heading to my advisory with Jax, I stopped at the vending machine. After that breakfast Jax made I decided today was not a day for snacks, so instead I bought Pure Life Tea; sweet tea. I didn't bother offering to Jax because he dislikes all tea, plus he wasn't in the mood for a drink. We walked to the second floor because that's where my class and locker was. It was Jax's locker, but we shared it. I stopped at my advisory, putting my backpack and binder at my desk, and then walked back into the hallway with Jax. Now the bell rung meaning we only had four more minutes left before classes start, and knowing Jax could use at least three of those minutes to get to his class, I decided to say our final goodbye. "So you have football practice today?" I asked. "Yea. Jamaal's gonna bring me home after, and I'll come over around 9," he replied. I couldn't stand having my baby away for that long, especially around those slutty little cheer leading whores! Jax laughed (as if he read my mind). "What's so funny!" I snapped back. He suddenly got serious. "Nothing. Just don't worry too much babe, I'll miss you too," he said. I looked back at him knowing this was where we said goodbye. He pulled me in tight for a goodbye kiss putting my body up against the lockers, and I put my arms around his shoulders (not wanting to let go). We detached and gazing into his eyes I said "I love you Jax". I could tell he was having a hard time just thinking about leaving. "I love you too Myah Marie Cooper," he chuckled. "Ugh you know I hate my full name," I said giving him a weak girly punch in his arm. This made him laugh. I watched him walk down the hall. After what seemed like forever, turning left until he disappeared into the crowd.

I personally love this chapter. I wanna know how you feel about the book though (I hope you enjoy). Do you think its too cheesy? Too girly? etc. Leave positive comments so I know. Tell me what you like and dislike too!
