The longest journey is the saddest,
I watch the rain and the dark sky.
There is no sun, neither fire nor the ashes,
just darkness and my worst demons.
I gave fire to burn with, let it burst out,
my heart is lifeless, I feel like I am dead.
All I see is a door that leads to death,
and life ends when you enter that door.
So just let me go through that door,
and let the angel of death take me in his embrace.
And I'll finally be at peace, Ah! peace,
and yes the longest journey is the saddest.
