Chapter 20: Things that Happened

~Willow's P.O.V.~

Well, I think most of you were thinking what really happened between us.

What really happened in that 1 year are one of the most things I don't wanna remember. From being his fake girlfriend, which I thought that will benefit me leads me to pain. I didn't regret meeting him but I regret assuming that he has feelings for me like what I had for him. It killed me in worst way possible.

I know that I have those extra ribs which can lead me to death, but it doesn't necessarily means that I have to undergo surgery to get rid of it.

But I thought loving someone is not a problem because it is a respiratory failure and it's not related to my heart. But it turned out that being heart broken can cause a problem where my extra ribs is connected to my heart.

I undergo a dangerous surgery, there is a little chance to make me live because of the deadly failure. I'm glad I have done the recovery fast.

[ Flashback ]

Everytime we are together, he makes me feel that I'm special to him. I didn't know that I've developed this feeling for him.

One time, I introduce to him Arzaylea. She is my friend. The three of us became closer, and I'm happy that he is close with her because she is a close friend of mine.

He told me that he likes me. I believed in him, he even got closer to my friends, especially Arzaylea.

There is one day when Luke didn't reply to my messages or even talking to me. I got curious and I call Ashton.

"Hello Willow! Why did you call?"

"Hey Ash, I got a question to ask."

"Sure."

"Is Luke there?"

"He's not here, I know he is meeting a girl."

"Do you know where he is?"

"Nope, I don't."

"Okay, thanks."

"You're welcome, call me if you need help."

I ended the call. I went to the mall to go to the bookstore, it is my hobby to go there always.

As I walked into the mall, I saw Luke wearing his disguise and Arzaylea on a bench.

"Arzaylea, I don't know how to say this. I like you very much. If you think I like Willow, that's not true. I just said that to get closer to you. I used her to be with you always. Can you be my girl?" Luke asked to Arzaylea while holding her hand. It means that he just used me.

"I like you too. I thought it is impossible for the two of us to be together because you like Willow. Willow is almost my bestfriend. But now that you didn't, yes. I am now your girl." tears fell from my eyes. All those lies that I believed him, I'm so stupid to assume that he really did.
