— Demi's POV

Once we got back home I went to change into more comfortable clothes while Liz put on a movie for us, as Izzy had requested. I was full on thoughts when I heard a tinny knock on my door.

– Aunty Dem, can we watch Lilo & Stitch? Pweeease! – Izzy asked with both hands clapped in front of his cute little face.

– Sure thing, sweetie. Let me just finish here and we can start on the movie, okay? – I asked while taking my makeup off.

– Yay!! I'm gonna tell mommy you said yes. – he said before running off. This little boy really is something else.

I still can't believe how much has changed in such a short period of time. Not even two months ago I was looking for my long lost sister and now I am living with not only her but also her son and girlfriend, and of course Wilmer, this sense of family they all give me is something I've been missing since before my father's death. I guess without her, it just didn't seem right.
Once I got in the movie room – it's honestly just a living room with a huge tv and really comfy couches – Isaiah came in my vision laying down on one of the couches while playing with Liz's phone. Not even 10 seconds after I enter the room, Liz shows up beside me with a bow of popcorn.

– Ready to Disney movies marathon? – She asked me in a playful voice that o didn't quite get.

– Of course I am. I love Disney movies! – I said overly excited but changed my look into a frown as soon as Liz started to laugh obnoxiously loud. – What the hell has gotten into you? – I asked extremely confused.

– I don't know. You tell me, miss this is real this is me. Conceited much, aren't we? – she asked mocking me which got me to blush out of embarrassment before laughing along.

– I swear I didn't mean it like that. God knows I hate watching myself in those Disney movies. – I said slapping her arm playfully before walking toward Izzy.

Once we all settled down I pressed play to start the movie and thank the lord it was really Lilo & Stitch and not one of mines.

– Amy's POV

– Thank you for the ride, and for the dirty water. – I said while looking at Wilmer through the widow gap as I waved my Starbucks.

– You're welcome, hermanita. – he said waving his hand while smiling at me.

– Wait! – I said before he took off. – I've no way of getting back home. – I said with a silly grin on my face. If he wants to treat me like a young sister I sure as hell am gonna annoy him like one.

– Just call me once your classes are over and if I can't come to pick you up I'll call in a favor and have someone I trust picking you up. Take care, kiddo. – he said smirking before playfully winking at me.

– You too, old man. – I said before walking away and I knew I had won this one.

Walking into campus I noticed how lost I actually was but luckily the universe didn't seem to be in the mood to fuck with my day just yet.

– Hey, hey! Wait! – I heard someone shouting behind me and I noticed they're talking with me. Stopping so they could reach me I waited for them to talk first. – Sorry, It's me, Marissa. – She said taking of her shades and I. Was relieved to find at least one friendly face on my first day. – How're you girl? – she asked while swinging her arm over my shoulder as we resumed to walking.

– I'm good. But what the fuck are you doing here? I thought you lived in LA.

– I asked confused as to why she was there.
