My Life with Patrick Kane

They're Coming

~2 months later~

Patrick and I have been together for 4 months and everything has been great. Like normal couples we had had our fights, but we got over each fight. We have only had two major fights, but even at that we got over them because we didn't like fighting. I am very proud of Patrick because he has kept himself out of trouble and kept his promise that he isn't going to do any one night stands. I have been the only girl in his life until now...

"My mom and sisters are coming into town!" Patrick said with excitement.

"Oh my goodness that is great! I am so glad that I can finally meet them!" I replied excited too.

"They are all so excited too!" He said hugging me with all his heart.

"When are they coming?" I asked. "Why isn't your dad coming?" I then asked kind of confused.

"Well my dad can't come because of his work schedule. They are gonna come this weekend." He told me with a huge smile on his face.

"Ok I have to clean up around here! Is your dad going to come later on?" I asked hoping to meet him.

"Yea he will be here next week." He said with a huge smile on his face indicating he misses him. "The house looks fine. You clean all the time" he said looking around. "Just relax I will get things ready," he told me coming up to hug me.

"Are you sure?!? I don't mind working. Really." I told him. "I want to help. It will be fun" I said reassuring him. "We can even get Jonny to help." I said starting to laugh.

"I'm not helping!" Jonathan yelled from on the couch.

"Ok captain serious!" I yelled back to him knowing that he will still be cleaning up later.

~3 hours later~

We just finished cleaning the whole appartment and like I knew Jonny did help. He did the mopping and dusting. While I vacuumed and cleaned the kitchen. Patrick cleaned the bathrooms and went to the grocery store. We had one day until Patrick's family was here.

"I think we are done!" I said in an excited voice.

"YESS!! FINALLY!!!" I heard Jonny and Patrick say at the same time! I could tell they were both really exhausted and just wanted to go to bed. At this time it was 9:30 and I was beat!

"Lets go up to bed," I told Patrick grabbing his hand are leading him up to the room.

"Can't argue with that!" I heard him say while walking up the stairs behind me.

"I think I'm going to go to bed too, night" Jonathan said while walking up behind us.

"Night" Patrick and I said in unison. Then we climbed in bed.

~The next day~

I heard the doorbell ring, which was what suddenly woke me up. I was so embarrassed because then I realized that it was Patrick's family and I was still in bed. I set my alarm last night. I can't believe TODAY is the day I over slept. So I quickly grab fresh clothes throw them on and pin my hair up. I run downstairs to see Patrick hugging his family.

"Hello!" I said excited while going over and standing by Patrick. He then wrapped his arm around my waist.

"Mom this is Megan. Megan this is my Mom,Erica,Jessica,and Jacqueline! He said squeezing me.

"Hi" they all said in unison. "Pleased to meet you," Mrs. Kane said with a grin on her face.

"I'm pleased to meet you guys as well," I responded smiling now and looking at the clock to see what time it was. 'I slept in until 12:30' I thought now remembering that I had set my alarm for 8:30. How did I over sleep so much?' I thought to myself but then entering into the conversation again. "Well we set up your rooms. Just follow me and we can set your stuff down." I said leading them up to the rooms they would be staying in. Then I grabbed Patricks hand to lead him into the hallway so we could get them some clean sheets and pillow cases.

"Why didn't my alarm go off today?!?" I asked Patrick knowing he had something to do with it.

"Well I wanted to let you sleep in because you have done so much for me, so I decided to turn your alarm off and have Jonny wake me. I finished the chores we had to do before they came. Everything is ready," Patrick said while leaning in for a delicate kiss.

"Aww thanks babe. You didn't have to do that though." I responded leaning in to put my head on his shoulder. "Now lets go give these sheets to your sisters and your mom," I said grabbing his hand and leading him into their room.

"Here are your sheets and pillow cases." Patrick said with a huge smile on his face. "Also what do you guys want to do for lunch?" He asked now walking over and sitting on the bed.

"It doesn't matter to me. I could go for anything" Erica said now looking up from her phone.

"Same here!" Everyone agreed.

"Ok how bout your mom chooses?" I suggested. Now calling Jonny into the room.

"Yea that's a good idea." Patrick said. "Jonny my mom is choosing what we're having for lunch," Patrick said when he heard his footsteps in the hallway.

"Ok. That works for me, but hurry I'm starving!" Jonny said now walking into the room.

"How about we have some Italian?" Patricks mom said.

"Sure" we all agreed.

~2 hours later~

We got back to the apartment everyone knows one another better now.

"That was really nice," I said to everyone. They are all on the couch now getting ready to play some Mario Kart.

"Yea I really enjoyed getting to know you better," Jacqueline said looking over with a big smile on her face.

"Me too. You seem really nice," Jessica agreed looking over smiling also.

"Well I had a great time talking to you guys. Maybe we should go shopping in the morning," I suggested with a smile on my face.

"Yea that would be so fun," Jessica,Jacqueline, and Erica said.

"Would you like to come too, Donna?" I asked Pats mom. She shook her head no and insisted that us girls go have fun. She told us that she will catch up with Patrick. A few games of Mario Kart was played and by this time it was 10:30pm and I was getting tired. "I'm going to head to bed now." I told everyone while stretching.

~morning~

It was now morning and I was getting up to get ready to go to the mall when I realized Patrick wasn't in bed. 'Where in the hell is Patrick?' I thought to myself now getting out of bed. I just hopped out if the shower when I heard the girls in the living room. I knew it wouldn't take me long to finish getting ready. All I had to do was put some make up on. After about 5 minutes I went downstairs so we could go. We left the house and started to drive to the mall. The conversations just kept coming. I really liked Patrick's sisters. They were really down to earth and fun. They kinda reminded me of Patrick.
