Ember's POV
Jacob took me home since Mason took my car home. I sneaked in quietly into my house. I was half way upstairs the stairs when Mason came in. "Where the hell have you been?" He demanded. "I was out with Jacob!" I replied. He glared at me and went into the kitchen. I sighed and went into my room. I turned to close my bedroom door when I felt a hand on my mouth. I screamed. Great Ember, scream into a guys hand. Logic. An arm wrapped around my waist, and pressed me into the mans chest. He kicked the door closed. He let me go and pushed me against the door. Oh god. "What do you want Calum?" I growled. "I want to say I'm sorry. I know sorry doesn't make up for what I did." He apologized. "Damn right it doesn't!" I spat out. "Tell me how I can make it up!" He begged. I pointed at the door. "You can start by leaving my house!" I told him. He shook his head. "I can't do that."
"And why not?"
"Because..."
"Because what Calum?"
"Because I can't bare to see you with Jacob!" He yelled quietly. I froze. "Well I can't bare to see with Aria either!" I yelled back. That got him to shut up. I smirked. "It's a win win situation isn't Calum? We both can't get what we both want either right?" I said while shoving him away from me. "Leave." I said flatly. He looked at me with his beautiful dark brown eyes. I looked away. "Just go." I whispered. Finally after 5 minutes passed, he left. I closed the door behind and slid down to the floor. I rested my head against the door. I hated him, but I still had a soft spot for him. Everything about him was like a drug. I wanted more. Addicted. But with Jacob. He was my heroine. He took the pain away. He replaced the pain with love. But with love comes with sacrifice. I had to give up. I had to give myself away. All I wanted was the pain to go away and Jacob did that. I was grateful for that but like the addict I was, I wanted more. More wasn't always enough for me. Too much could kill me but too little could turn me crazy.
